Give me a break! Can anyone stake a claim on this rock? Where is the line? I think meteorites are owned by the owner of the land they are found on. The iron company in this case. That being the said, did the indians own the rock and sell it for the $20,600? If not then they don't and never have owned the thing.

What... the Indians don't make enough money on their Gambling Casino's they have to lay claim to this too!!?? If it was so sacred to them why did it lay abandoned in the woods for so many years? They only claimed it was sacred after they found out it was worth some money! And it was discovered on the lands of the Oregon Iron and Steel Company.

Grand Ronde Tribe should claim it Tomanowos as they call it should be there because it is sacred to them because they did rituals on them so there fore it belongs to the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde
