What a real pos company to work for. To everybody that is looking for a job, I wouldn't waste a second of time on that place. Nothing but a bunch of drama and back stabbing goes on there. People beware about wanting to work at a shit hole company like that.

So, does this mean you got fired or that your attitude and behavior caused your co-workers to make your life so miserable that you finally quit ?

I have lived in Heber all my life and thats all you ever here about that place. They will give anybody a job and don't care if they are a child molester or murderer. I put in an application and after doing the tour quickly decided that I wasn't able to work there. They don't seem to care about their employees and definitely don't care about their safety. Rumor has it that they are going out of business. So sad for all the families that depend on that place.

They are not goin out of business lol they actually just picked up some more contracts:) yes they are cutting back on some overtime but that's about it care about their employees? That's why they give them overtime when they need it? Or like my father whenever he needs to take off they don't question him or anything they are understanding:) unless your an employee that does their job half ass lol I know plenty of people that work there that don't complain or anything hell a job is a job can't have everything your way at least it's bringing in income right? And they've never hired a murder lol but they do however don't hold a felony against you or if you have any minor charges at least people that r trying to get a Job can have a place to go most felons can't get a job anywhere

They don't even have clean air at that place. It's a huge mistake to work there.

Guess that they would have to actually run a background check before they know for sure that they haven't hired a murderer. What a joke for a company. I wouldn't suggest it to anybody.

What happened to just working to support your family ? Seems like a lot of people have to have the drama of their workplace to sustain them when they aren't at work. Try leaving work at work. If you can't do that find another job. If you can't find another job maybe you should be glad you have one in these difficult economic times.

Asbestos is not something people get. It is a fire retardant materiel that causes certain diseases in people.

I know for a fact that Saint Jeans is losing most of their contracts. They might be trying to pick up a few, but they have lost most of their business from not being able to make their shipments and sending out crap parts.

The screen name says it all. They won't last very much longer. The governor had to donate them a air ventilation system to try and make it a little safer for the employees.

You will be losing the Rlca, flca, 215 knuckle, delta narrows and wides, brackets, ohhhh and the 322's. These companies wouldn't be pulling their contracts if this company made quality parts and could meet their deadlines? Got an extension on the delays huh? They are only letting you make parts dumb ass until they can find someone else to take the contract. I have seen GM pulling most of their molds already so before you think that you want to throw around knowledge know exactly what you are talking about before you make yourself look stupid again. These parts that you are mentioning picking up, when do you start these parts for production? Exactly!!! That place can't survive until 2015 on the few scrap contracts that they have.
That's funny, your an idiot and don't now crap. GM hasn't pulled any molds period. The saint jean employee had it right except for the new business part, we haven't been awarded anything new, only carryover business.
Stop and think about the big picture for a moment, how often does car companies redesign there cars, well it's about every 5-7 years. It takes about 3 years from the time they decide on a design until its in production, so the ones you say we lost we didn't really loose. 3 years ago they redesigned there cars, the Cadillac went to a completely different suspension that uses steel stampings (same thing for the delta) and the corvette went to a hollow control arm (nether of which we do). Think about how many different parts goes into a car, they are not just going to completely redesign the vehicle based on one supplier, they do it based on the consumer market.
Business comes and goes, it's like that with every automotive supplier, will we be there by 2015? Who knows, but show me any job that's guaranteed to be here tomorrow, that's right nothing is guaranteed.
So if you want a job where you can make some decent money, have good insurance and build something you can take pride in knowing that families are riding on what you put your hands on them Saint Jean is the place, yea you gotta work hard, it's hot and it's nasty but that's life, otherwise go flip burgers at McDonald's.

First of all the Yokes are new parts that we have gained which are in production now. That is what our Licon machines are running and also why we needed 2 because of the high volume of these parts. we are also using the 2nd one for the new Corvette knuckles due to the capacity leftover from having the 2nd machine. We will be making them in Building 1 later this year using our new TPPM (tilt pour permanent molding) machines that we have installed. It is part of the Epsilon platform from GM because they did away with the entire Sigma platform for the better Epsilon platform. They entirely changed platforms and that is why we are losing those Cadillac parts (265/295/322) later this year. Every company that makes parts for that platform is losing their parts, not just Saint Jean. Secondly you are absolutely wrong about the Delta Narrow and Wide going away. These parts are contracted out past 2014 now. GM has not pulled any of our molds because they are useless to any other company. We are the only company that does the Cobapress parts so other companies can't use our casting molds because they are just used as preforms before we forge them. Plus many of our competitors do not use LPPM (low pressure permanent molding) but instead use squeeze casting, VRC/PRC, or another type of casting. All that means is that it would take a long time and a tremendous amount of money (new everything which is a tremendous amount of engineering time on analysis and tooling) to take away our production parts and give them to a competitor. GM is not going to do that. They actually realize that we have had a hard time lately on some things that were out of our control that they gave us a loan along with ZF and Honda. If they really thought that we were that bad of a company then I doubt that they would hand a loan out to us thinking that we would not make it and give them their money back. Things have started getting better for us after our hard times. Sure we will send out bad parts from time to time but just about every company slips up every now and then. We are working on our issues and it has gotten better recently with room for improvement still out there.
'Inside Scoop' I would like to know what position you are in to see these things and make some of the stuff up. Everything that I have said is right and I have the information to prove it. You better not just be a line worker or a misguided supervisor acting like you have the knowledge about it all. Please don't tell me that you are a manager either, because your sources are very wrong and I doubt that any of our managers would be on Topix. I'm on this because one of my friends told me about this topic and i just wanted the record straight. You are just making yourself look stupid going against someone with the actual truth about it all. Tell me your position and I will personally come up to you on Monday to straighten all of your information out at work instead of doing it on Topix.
Sounds like somebody is about to lose a job. Good luck getting another one.
