Can anyone tell me what all happened on bus 28 Friday afternoon? Why driver called cops? Running off road? Yelling at kids? Mother with small child wants the truth from older student.

Mother, if the cops were called you always have the option to ask the responding officer. An impartial adult might provide you better information than kids. Just sayin.

I have 2 children who ride bus 28. One says the driver (substitute) is an old man who yelled a lot but that he didn't drive in the ditches. My other child said he drove in the ditch and caused a girl to hit her head on the window. So I guess it is all according to your perspective. I do know that after he dropped my kids off he didn't drive away for a long time. From what I've heard most of the action occurred after my kids got off. I hope we can find out what really happened.

I think I would call the police as well as the principal/superten. at the school.
Take nothing for granted when it comes to the safety of your children..... there are too many crazy people out there.

Y don't u ask the bus driver? He always has problems out of that old man substitute driver. The original driver also works for the pd part time doing animal control and im sure they called him wanting to know if he was driving.

I even called the school and can't get any straight answers about what happened. If any of you other parents know please post. I have young children so it is hard to get the just from them. And of course everyone I called down played it like there wasn't a issue. I think if the driver is yelling, running off the road and stops to call police then there must have been a issue. guest wrote: Y don't u ask the bus driver? I have 3 kids on that bus. I was told that he called the cops, because there were kids drumming on the seats with drumsticks. Since then, I have been told that he was 'let go' of his responsibilities as substitute bus driver. I believe the officers should charge him for calling them out on a non-emergency. I was told that there were 6 cops and that they pulled 3 of the boys off the bus. My children came home 30 minutes later than normal that day. I was told that he stopped repeatedly in the middle of the road holding traffic up for miles.
