It blows. There's a few companies left, like the big ones, but it's not like it was a while back.

There are still quite a few contractors out there. They are keeping me pretty busy. Just find one and ask if they are hiring. It's not booming like it was but I average 50-60 hrs a week. With most of my weekends off. There's work out there!!

Lol...... Some people just don't know business. The gas and oil will be here for a long time. Sometimes it does get slow but that doesn't mean everyone is going to the unemployment line. Don't be a "negative nancy". Get a clue. People have been saying for years that the gas and oil won't stay long. They are still here and will be for awhile longer. There is still alot of work left to be done.

The oil field is leaving Arkansas.
Everyone I know is working in Oklahoma away from their families to make the money they were making here for 7+ years. And the onlyones in the unemployment line are the ones who has refused to move with the rigs.
But know the oil and gas will stop in Arkansas this year. Only like 3 rigs still standing here now and the rest are in yards rusting. That is a fact

The gas and oil will be here longer than a yr. that is a fact. Most of the rigs might be gone but they will keep drilling with a few of them for yrs to come. Then all of the compressor work and set up that has to be done. I know there's atleast 5 yrs of that. The gas and oil will still be here for a while. That is a fact. It's not just drilling that is going on here there is more. That is a fact!!!

My hubby is in the oil field and he is relocating to Oklahoma. The oilfield is booming up there as is the jobs. Mcdonalds is offering 9 to 10 just to start out. There is nothing here at all anymore. Not having a winter killed it here.

Say as ya please ya best get on the wagon. Ya there's a production side but give it a little an then they will lay off also bc they will start capping these wells off an there will only be enough not caped of to make it because they have to much stock piled. But I'm mostly referring to the people not on the production side. An to even get on that it's who u know not what you know. Drilling in ark is over for awhile for alot of rigs.

So when this all shuts down an the guys who think it's not an chooses not to worry about it. They will be more than welcome to open the doors at the unemployment line. Ya the oil an gas will be here but the getting will stop if theres no profit an if there not drilling. Then that stops alot of jobs an if there's no profit why produce? That's right that's when they come in here an do some capping of wells.

It not jus rigs. It men who drill, lay liner, run pumps, check pumps, roust about and so much more. It not jus one job one rig one site. It a bunch by a diff company each different job description.

Enjoy it cause u wont be working on an OIL RIG in Arkansas long. But keep thinking that if it helps u sleep at night. Now that's a FACT.
The production side is over worked and under payed. Those boys can make more money at Walmart. That's also a fact. Oklamaha and Texas is where the money is. Now that's the last fact I'll share with u
