How come all these guys keep wasting their time in their baby mommas who don't care about then or their baby's? There's a lot of great guys just wasting their time on these girls who won't change and are gonna be shitty parents! Everyone knows they're gonna pass them off to their mothers because they are too young and immature to have a baby. You can't raise a child if you're still a child.

Excuse me, I'm raising my child just fine and I'm a young mother. I chose to grow up and be there for my child. And, it's his father that has nothing to do with me or the baby because he doesn't care. So, don't be pointing fingers please.

I don't think its an age issue. It depends on the individual. Not all the fathers man up, and take responsibility for what's happened. Just like not all the mothers remain children. True a vast number of them in this town mothers and fathers don't take responsibility. And I see and know a lot that won't. A baby doesn't ask to be born and brought into this world, but that doesn't mean they're a mistake. Everyone needs to take responsibility and quit being childish, but they won't. It's only a select few that do. Anyone can have a baby. It takes someone special to mother and father that baby.

The point is, sacrifice. It's no longer about the wants and needs of the parents, but the needs of the child. I myself was overjoyed to learn that I was going to be a daddy. I had big dreams and wanted to live them out. Now, I'm going to be a single parent, and there's not a lot of support for single fathers. So I had to hang aside my wants and education to improve my life, and continue working so that I can support those of my child when he/she arrives. Sacrifices and responsibility. Learn them and start taking it people.

I agree with you 100% the single parets who bust there ass to support there kids n dont live off the system shouldnt be classified with the rest the morons that choose to be losers and have everyone feel sorry for them!! Its just not right! Some of us actually try and have tried to make the father/mother be a part of the kids lives it aint our fault they turned into massive douches and ran off like little boys/girls an couldn't man up! So lets not trash talk the ones trying ! Thanks

I have to say to you that you are a true man!! And your right single fathers should get the same help a single mother does! BUT neither women or man shuld be aloud to live off the system without putting effort out to support there child and raise them right that is why there is so many teens and kids lazy and disrespectful in today society due to LACK OF PARENT SKILLS!!!

Jus because ur young doesn't mean ur gonna be a shitty parent...don't downgrade someone because they're young and immature, I've seen a lot of immature young girls become amazing mothers who take care of their own. stop being so stereotypical.

It's easy to point the finger at a young mother. I know a good amount of young INDEPENDENT mothers who don't ask for someone else to raise their child. What's your excuse for the older, childish mothers? We as women, are automatically a sole provider, but a man can disappear and treat his responsibilities as foreign. Whereas I've seen mothers do the same thing....leave their children behind to party and do what they want without having a child to disrupt their "process" and the father stepping in and doing an excellent job. Your ignorance is astounding. Just the fact that a woman is pregnant and not with the baby's father |for whatever reason| doesn't mean she's an infectious disease that doesn't deserve a real relationship. Some men come with open arms, some don't. Whatever floats their boat. Maybe you should think to yourself next time?=-}

You are right there isn't much support for single fathers and that is wrong and unfair as all get out. Fathers should get the same as mothers. Our legal system is very unfair when it comes to a fathers rights. Congrats on standing up and doing the right thing for your child. He/she will make life hard but will also bring you the greatest joys of your life. Keep being a stand up dad!! The world needs more men like you.

There really isn't any goverment help to those fathers who would need it. But there also isn't much support period for fathers. Normally mothers have a baby shower where friends and family gift everything from cribs to supplies such as diapers. Normally the fathers don't.

That's a different subject though. The main concern is parents needing to step up and take responsibility. It's not age related, its attitude and character related. Some parents have it. Some don't.

Ok, what about these girls that won't leave their "baby daddy" alone and stop trying to force them to be a part of their kids lives? I mean really if they don't want you or your child/children, then move on!! Take care of and support your child/children alone or get him on child support but don't keep trying to force them to be with you or make them be a part of your kids life.. Some people want to be parents some people don't. I don't believe age is a major factor there really some people just don't care that goes for both men and women, it's sad but true!

You are pathetic and a sad excuse for a person! The girl didn't get herself pregnant and in today's economy it takes two incomes to raise a kid... You must be baby daddy's new girlfriend that is jealous that the baby mama is going to have a bond with your new man for 18+ yrs! If a father decided to ignore his child that has his blood and DNA then I feel sorry for the child and the "father" needs to go get fixed so he can't continue to reproduce children he don't give a sh!t about

Wow since we're ASSuming things I'll assume you're one of the pathetic baby mommas I was referring too lol. I have no problems with the mother of my HUSBANDS children seeing how that's me! And if you weren't a scorned girl you would have maybe comprehended what you read! I clearly said (SUPPORT YOUR CHILD ALONE OR GET HIM FOR SUPPORT) I never said the baby daddy shouldn't be financially supportive to their child whether they choose to be in the child's life or not... I said baby mommas shouldn't try to force someone to be in their kids life if they don't wanna be there!!

What exactly were they so right about? Im a baby mama myself and I totally agree with what the lady was saying. Yes there are some women and men that are jealous of their gf or bf's baby mama or baby daddy. But there are also a lot of baby mamas that try to make their kids father be with them or be in the kids life when they don't want to be. My childs dad has nothing to do with her I take care of her alone and we're fine that way his loss I'm not gonna force him to be a part of her life when he doesn't want to be there

I'm sorry, but I just don't see how any man could not want to be part of his child's life.
