Take a tour of your own city - The Park Record

City Hall and the Park City Chamber/Bureau are organizing two so-called 'Familiarization Tours' this month and December, chances for people to learn about the community as the normally busy ski season is starting.

OH COME ON for chrissakes. Do you NOT want to know more about the history of this community? The $30 price includes a visit to the newly-opened museum and lunch at Bandits (one of my favorite places, no matter who is paying). It is a good way to get involved, to learn our local history, and to have a good time. Where do you whiners come from?? And will you please, PLEASE go back there? Park City is a wonderful place with a special history and a close-knit community; people take an interest in local affairs and are happy to shell out a few bucks to support local institutions. If that doesn't work for you, you are welcome to move to Detroit.
