Porn probe ends in man's arrest - The Park Record

An 18-year-old Park City man was arrested Thursday night and faces seven felony counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after child pornography was found on his computer, the authorities said.

that is sick. not a mistake.

Perhaps if you have children of your own one day this will make sense to you and won't seem so harsh.

To "Not Harsh" - I have children, and I would be horrified if any of them were victims of portnographers, but take a second to look at the alleged actions compared with the charges. As far as has been disclosed, this boy is neither a pornographer nor an abuser of children. He is accused of having pornography on his computer, and he has been charged with several felonies. Now consider the case of John Cole, the violent drunk who viciously kicked in the face of a tourist on Main Street, causing severe injuries and nearly killing the man. He was not charged with the same level of criminality, and does not face the same possible maximum sentence, as does this teenager. Doesn't something seem out of balance to you?
