Well the teacher needs to set a good example for students and parents. it's not necessarily meaning to blame 1 another you're crazy is jumping into conclusions which and fact it only was 1 absent, im sure it was a family emergency.

Teachers deserve a vacation too! Quit trying to find fault and complain about teachers. They are under paid and over worked.

If only parents were as involved with their kids schoolwork as they are with teachers lives. Wishful thinking.

Wow really ! That teacher was not there to have a great time and live it up. She was there because her children show animals there and obviously you don't know it's a long process to do that! Most of the time they have to sleep with their children's animals. What are you truant already ? Really help your child with their work and support those who are there to nurture and foster your child's learning instead of being so quick to jump and point fingers. Or better yet why don't you go substitute or study to be a teacher before you step on someone's toes ... Step in their shoes for awhile. What is it with this town and debasing teachers!! These are people who are there for your children to educate and mold their minds and you speak so freely and loosely about them and probably in front of your children and that's why most children don't have any respect to authority. Shame !!!

I am a good parent. My child is a good student. I just hate that my child is scared to miss school even though she is sick. A substitute can never take the place for a teacher. Especially all week. Her kids have a dad who could go with them.
well!

Well since your a great parent you would probably support your child in everything she does even if it means to miss a few days of work. You have to remember they are parents too. If you really have a problem with your child's teacher you should set up a confrence with her instead of doing it behind a screen and waiting for others to talk trash about teachers.
just a thought

Maybe you should have spent a little more time in school yourself and you would know that it is "pissed" and "They're" and "and they're". Your kid may be as illiterate you if you don't send them to school!!!

Its sad to target good teachers. Why don't you look at Nellie Benavides who does nothing at school but go around chasing her daughter. Ask any students, they cannot even tell you what her job is there. Give her a broom at least so she can work for her pay.

The school cares more about how our kids dress and there school bags than there education. The school district should enforce a dress code for the teachers as well.

Teachers do have a dress code. And you must remember one thing. They already have paid for their education. As for the students. You'd be surprised if you were to hear the language they speak and what they speak of in class. Makes some parents look pretty bad. Parents are the first people a child looks up to and mimicks. Why do they have to blame the school system for bad manners and behavior issue?
