What do you mean won what moron? He won baseball district titles and was the coach when the baseball team made it deep into the playoffs in '05. Not to mention all the district titles in football. It's funny how ppl forget that Gonzie was the interim head football coach when coach Gomez was very ill and that was the yr hebbronville won the first district title in 2-A....sooooo won what bro? Question answered. Gonzie's a bada$$ coach and he knows alot, especially the game of baseball. Good job T!!! Getting rid of him was the biggest mistake that LOPEZ ever made!!!

Who did T have by his side while we we're winning all that stuff? Huerta. He left the following year and what happened to T's baseball program? Downhill. We had only lost two seniors. The rest of us were still ready to play. Huerta was the key to our wins in baseball and football.

Wellllll it could be that the 2 seniors that graduated were the keys to the success that yr duuuuh!! One was the ace pitcher and the other was just hands down the best stick hebbron had that yr in JJ Maldonado so yeah whether it was 2 or 5 seniors lost, it can make a difference. Hands down Gonzie was the best coach hebbronville had not takin anything away from Mandito Huerta but that's the truth!

So we went 3 deep because we had two badass seniors? You must not know, BRO! You(Rick)were legit and JJ had the stick, but the rest of of should have at least taken the district our senior year. All the small ball, which is where our runs came from was all Huerta.

First of all BRO this ain't Rick!!! Second of all, you just proved to me that you're from the class of '06...buff said lol!!! Small ball coming from mando?? C'mon bro I played ball for both coach salinas (who was the head coach before gonzie) and Gonzie so I should know that small ball has always been in hebbronville's arsenal...get with it kid!!! It wasn't G's fault that y'all couldn't execute!! And I am sorry that y'all couldn't do better than the '05 class but hey atleast u got to be a part of it ;)!

Admit what?? That the seniors of '06 couldn't carry their own weight? Cuz how funny that the 06 seniors and 04 seniors were the only ones out of all the teams Gonzie coached to not make the playoffs. So that says one thing and one thing only: they could hold their own without the seniors that went before them. Bottom line son!!! So Gonzie wasn't the problem, it was the lack of heart and leadership that those seniors couldn't offer the younger players! SORRY!

You're right about 04 and 06, but you're very wrong about 05. They entered the season expected to miss playoffs and just straight up be a horrible team but instead they came together and put together a winning season and a hell of a playoff run. So overrated is incorrect. The word for them would be "over achievers" cuz they did what nobody thought they could do.
