C.J. is doing much better. He has a lot of pain still, but is not on pain patches and bolus injections thru his IV when the pain gets really bad. I read the Poteau news reports on what the birth canal said about CJ not feeling pain....she is nuts! that poor baby hurts all the time, but unlike her, only complains when the pain becomes unbearable. He is so much stronger than most grown people that he just tolerated all the pain until he got the help he needed. I hope she gets to experience the hell he is going thru, then ask if it hurts! I am keeping the kids as safe as I can and have good support from the local police department. I will do whatever I have to do to be srue she and her boyfriend never get near the boys again. I can't believe the nerve of her in stating he wasn't feeling pain and that he is delayed mentally to the poin to not feeling physical pain. She is an idiot! Please keep the prayers coming and know that I appreciate all of them. They are working and he is getting better. Has one more skin graft next week on his genital area nad abdomen. Looks like they will be able to save his genitals.

sorry he is on pain patches. I was typing so fast, I messed up. C.J. has told the doctors what happened to him and who did it. Let them try to say he is not mentally able to do that! He gave details to the doctors that he wouldn't have known without experienceing them.

I know Im late on this... WAY late, but I still wanted to put my thoughts in too. I used to be good friends with Jessica and Cecil. I dont understand how they could do this or let it be done. Little CJ is one of the sweetest kids I know. I havent seen him or his brother in a year or so, but I know they havent changed. Even if they were the worst kids on the planet, NOONE deserves what this little boy has gone through. Diana, thank you and your son, for taking such good care of CJ and Warren. I am praying for them and for you. Hoping and praying something is done to keep the babies away from such horrible things and people.

Hello everyone,
Great news!! C.J. is home with me and is doing really well. He has home health nurses who come out to do his dressing changes and will be starting physical therapy soon. He is walking, trying to ride his tricycle and seems to have gained 10 lbs. Not really 10 lbs, just feels like it when I have to carry him very far. He is happy to be home with us and seems to be doing very well. We will be starting counseling soon for him and his brother. He, understandably, has alot of anger issues to get thru, but his sweet personality keeps shing thru. I do hope all of you will continue to pray for our family as we learn and adjust to being a family in one home again and get re-acquainted. I also ask that you all pray for the right justice for the people who hurt our precious littl boy.

CJ is in class with my son at Leflore school. I hung around for a couple of hours today and got to know CJ a little. He is a very smart and happy little boy. My son also has burns on his belly and hand. I know what it is like to care for a burned baby. My son's was an accident however, but none the less hard. I am curious as to how his scars are treated everyday. My son was flown to Galveston Tx and we had specific instructions as to how to take care of his wounds. I was just wondering if Tulsa's instructions were similar.

Hello Newintown, welcome to the area. C.J. had 7 plastic surgeries and his follow up care is just to keep it as clean as possible and I apply a lotion the Home Health provided to keep the tissue soft to keep the itching and peeling as minimal as possible. CJ picks at this all the time, so just preventing infections is a real trick. We have been very lucky so far and not serious infections. He may have to go thru more plastic surgery later on, but is doing well for now and I am thankful that God has kept his mental status as well as it is.
