I dont know the whole situation and think delaying care was a horrible move on the parents part. Now think about it. If the boy was burnt getting into the tub they would not have anything to fear from calloing an ambulance right? I dont know since they are in custody now. I can tell you one thing without even knowing all the details. His burns could not possibly be as severe as described bc there is no way possible he could live through it without emergency medical interventions. Whatever the situation the family should be charged with neglect for with holding medical care that at the least could have relieved his pain. But third degree from the neck down for days on end without extensive care? Use your noodle folks. The poor child could never have survived. So maybe the burns were no so severe. Or maybe Christ intervened on this ones behalf. It would have to be one of the two. The story as reported just doesnt hold water. Spend a couplke of minutes looking up severe burn emergencies.

Dear Mike and everyone else who is concerned about my grandson. To respond to your statement that the"poor child could never have survived if the burns were so severe". Had it not been for the quick thinking of the medical staff at the clinic and the superb care he is receiving right now, I would be going to my grandson's funeral instead of holding his hand (which is about the only part of him not burned) and comforting him as much as I possibly can. Since you seem to have doubts as to how badly burned my grandson is, take a look at Facebook, look up any of the posts and pictures my family has posted. We are far from out of the woods in my precious little grandson's story, but for those of you who care enough to pray, please continue to pray for my little C.J. and ask God to forgive his mother and boyfiend. While your at it, pray for the people who gave the kids back to her last fall after they had been beaten by the same boyfriend.
I personally think before someone goes to spouting off about what is or is not serious and life threatening, perhaps you should try checking the story out completely before voicing an opinion. Not only was his mother neglectful and trying to hide what she knew or helped to do, she is also a repeat offender for the same behaviors. The system should have stopped it last fall before my poor little C.J. had to suffer the boiling water and the effects of it he will have to suffer through for a long time to come.
I pray that God can forgive these people and I am trying very hard to forgive them, but when I look into that baby's sad, scared blue eyes, forgiveness is something I have to leave to God right now. I am not strong enough for that just yet.

who in their right mind would have let those children back in thet terrible home?? who ever is responsible for that should be strung up along side of those demons and punished severely. this gives me something far worse than road rage.i am furious that anyone is crazy enough to do this to children

Thank you Susan. All prayers are appreciated. It is heart breaking when the poor little guy only wants me to hold him and I can't because the burns on his little body are so severe.

Well, to answer the question of who put them back, that was a government system.....As to punishment: there is no punishment severe enough to suit me. My Christianity is really being tested and forgiveness is difficult for me to even think about right now. That will have to be done by God's goodness until my grandson is recovered.

whoever is in a government position that would put abused children back in a home where a mother was shacked up with a child molester should be imprisoned them selves this is nonsense there is no excuse for this and i call for that person to be fired and put in jail as an acomplice to child abuse

Grandma my heart goes out to you.I have grand kids and its terrible the abuse there is that goes on and the kids are sent right back into the home.Sadder it takes something like this to happen for action to be taken. It makes me sick to think how that 4 year old suffered and they only cared about what was going to happen to them.Well i hope prison is there next stop. The lord is with you.

Another case of a mother shacking up with her violent boyfriend. The mother should be held more accountable than any one else for bringing that pervert around her children.
That is what happens when this liberal society believes it is acceptable for people to shack up with each other when there are children in the home.

Has anyone heard how the little boy is doing? My heart goes out to him. Hope and pray for a better life for this little one. He has been through alot. He will need someone who really cares to get him through this and the rest of his struggles he will have to face in his life time.

C.J. had plastic surgery yesterday, had 5 grafts and is still in tremendous pain. He is being given as much medicine as he can tolerate but it only takes the edge off the pain and he falls asleep when he become totally exhausted. He will likely lose his genitals and I don't know what other effects will still show up from this abuse he suffered. I do want you all to know how very much I appreciate your prayers and well wishes.

There is no punishment that would be too great for the people who did this to this little boy. I am totally outraged. What kind of people would do someting like that to anyone, much less a small child.
My prayers are with all of you and I hope the little boy makes a full recovery. God Bless all of you.

We are praying for your family, especially your grandson. This truly breaks my heart. I have 3 kids, including a 4 year old boy and I can't imagine this happening to any of them. It is true that being Christian we have to forgive those who have done wrong, but they still have to suffer the consequences of their actions. I pray that the mother & boyfriend stays in jail for a very long time so they cannot harm their child or other children. God bless!
