New Topic Mayor 2013

Ok, back to local topic now!
Who would be a legitimate opponent for Mayor Alcombright? Must be someone out there. Seriously, I dont want to hear the names Trottier or Cardimino.
Let's start a decent conversation here. Let's take this board back from the right and left wing wackos.

Nobody will run against DA--or if someone does it'll still be a nobody

What's wrong with Trottier? He shoots from the hip, spits out false numbers, and attacks public figures that don't agree with him. It worked for Barrett.

I don't think that anyone could beat the mayor.

DA and his supporters have blamed all ills on Barrett--DA is one year into his second term--and the JBIII thingie persists---Obama and his supporters blamed everything on Bush--even after 4 years--- NA voted solidly for Obama-- they will do the same for Alcombright

I have never heard Mayor Alcombright ever blame his predecesor...to my dismay as he is clearly supported by fact for the challanges our City faces....what I have seen is petty personal issues affecting forward momentum....diagonal parking is really an issue that should divide the community?....maybe JB3 should explain why he transfered $100,000 a year into the cemetary payroll account????!!....but to the question of this thread....i don't see anyone who has what is needed to lead our city....word is tha Breen thinks she has what it takes...to that i say she does not

I don't think that DA has ever directly blamed Barrett-- but his supporters----as you as so ably demonstrated do----it's the perception of the community that counts--and the majority of DA supporters blame Barrett---Breen???? only if you hold pole dances in the corner office

Barrett should run against Alcombright again - that would be a laugh riot!

Maybe it would finally put closure to JBIII's dubious political career.... and a few dubious others..... Trottier and Cardimino come to mind. HA! Bring it on!

Anybody read this week's latest Trottier rant? Lordy.

Is he drunk? Or just STUPID?

Breen is not qualified, not even close. She would get the cook and pole dancer vote that is it.

Shame there appears to be no one.

Melito?

Melito?? no way---that he'd challenge DA---but Breen has qualifications--she's a lawyer--and an exotic dancer--what's unqualified about that

She is nuts. I mean like Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction nuts. She would get Cardimino and Trottier vote, and the stripper vote, no way the masses.

There is sufficient evidence that indicates that sanity is not a prerequisite for running for Mayor

Very true Clark, very true!

I doubt JB3 would run again, and we certainly dont need a dick light. For the life of me I cant figure out anyone under the age of 50 who would run.

Me neither-except for Cardimino or Trottier--so that they would have a more public forum--Bender has his show and Trottier has Open Forum and the Transcript Letters---but being on the ballot could give them greater release for their idiocies--as in a Mayoral debate--although I haven't a clue as to who would host such a debate or that DA would even show up----let's see-----Clint Eastwood tonight starring Mark Trottier

Either Bosley or Cariddi would give Dick a run for his money, but I doubt either would want to.
