We need a new topic to discuss. Does anyone remember how much fun we had just a short year ago?

This probably won't go very far with out TROLLS--but the City Solicitor has recommended that signs and placards and banners etc be banned from Council meetings but not shirts etc with messages---this is what I have said would probably pass the smell test--and it will probably pass the Council-- with Trots and Bender yowling like hell---wonder where JBIII and Breen will be on this one-- Harpin too--only takes a majority though

Yeah I think that's right--everyone is allowed to apeak within the limits of "Hearing of Visitors" and "Open Forum" and what they wear should be irrelevant--Signs-Placards etc- can and should be ruled out for safety and obstruction of view purposes--but not T shirts and caps-- and electronic devices-----maybe they should include that spelling counts

Yeah wasn't it fun to watch Solons aka Andrew Stevens totally trash Glenn Heller in ever other post?

Alas, then he changed his name to Praxis33 and the fun, fun, fun suddenly stopped.

His Libel and Slanderous remarks started a contest that won't end.

so much fun.

It could be worse. You could have a town government that aggressively harrasses and pursues anyone who dares speak out against it. Anyone carrying a sign into a meeting of Berkshire County's metropolis would be put on a shit list that included traffic stops, mystery tax revaluations and much more. It's better to put up with a crackpot than end up like the citizens of Berkshire County's metropolis.

And once again Snookie has nothing important to say. Just same ole useless drivel that caused her to wander off the Bennington boards.

Or from your perspective you could write the "R" word with Barrett or JBIII under it-- dictator would work as well--same could apply to Alcombright--if that was your prespective

When does one's freedom of speech become disruptive? It seems to me that name calling, false accusations and yelling are disruptive and are outside the bounds of free speech. Free speech does not mean that ANYBODY can say ANYTHING they want ANYWHERE they please. Try standing in the public library and shouting out insults and accusations about someone. When you are asked to leave, claim that your right to free speech is being violated. How do you think that would fly?

How would you know? You're an atheist?--or is that why you became one?

No, Clark, I didn't become one. I was born an atheist. I just went back to my pre-indoctrinated state...no biggie.
