Skating Rink Director

Rumor has it that the Peter Foote Ice Skating Rink Director Darin Lane got a very large raise beginning Jan. 1st. I'm hearing it equals to about a $9.00/hr raise based on 40hr work week. If true, must be nice to have close friends in council. My question is since the city took over the facility , where does the employees wages come from ??? And if it is a city funded entity, should the raise proposal been brought in front of the city council ??? Can anyone shed light on this ???

Raises are handled through proposed changes in the Compensation Plan-which will be on the agenda at the next regular Council meeting on the 12th-- ask the question then--frankly I doubt that it would be true---not that I know anything- but JBIII has been all over raises like a hawk---I don;t think that one would have slipped by him---but go to the meeting and under Hearing of Visitors -raise the question

Does JB hate the city yard supervisor because he didn't hire him or because he won't bury oil on city property?

The rink supports itself and has its own budget. The raise is old news! The new job description has many new responsibilities!

yea north adams hires a lot of people that get fired Barbulunga at Drury high Caught selling drugs in pittsfield his brother got caught giving beer to high school kids kids at ths Jack the old super of pitts had to resign or be fired from pittsfield for having sex with the principal at capeless school now employed at MCLA and that joke leveque security at drury ???
