it was a air-soft gun, not a real gun. evidently someone shot someones dog with e pellet and at some point later, after the cops already had dealt with the matter, a fight broke out, reportedly a verbal discussion that was getting loud.

people shouldnt be letting their dog from their yard anyways. only assuming but its probably because the dog was posing a risk to the adjoining neighbors.

it would be ironic the abuser got in trouble just as much as the abused. the dog leash law has never really been enforced all that much, so things like this are bound to happen. dog owners are generally supportive of their dog, whether they be vicious or not. look at they 80 year old lady on the west coast got attacked by 4 pit bulls. first of all pitbulls should be banned by now and second, more things like this are gonna happen especially when its a vicious dog like a pit.

i dont care how many people tell me that pits are nice dog, i will never trust anything a pit owner says. i dont know how many cases i have heard where the pit turns on the owner.... sure.... nice dog man.... lol.

pit bulls will eventually be banned as pets but how many lives will they ruin before they do anything about it. i am sure the 80 year old grandmother incident is just a drop in the bucket. leash your dog or pay the penalty... even if that means jail time for an irresponsible dog owner.

your dog is not a human no matter how you want to think it is. it doesnt have rights as a human so if it gets shot while on someones property, you have only but yourself to blame.

Your nickname fits like a glove. Every sentence screams "simple minded."

Over the years many breeds of dogs have been identified as being to viscous to be allowed as pets, right now it's Pit Bulls.I remember when the same was said of German Shepherds, Doberman Pincers, Rottweilers, etc, but in the end it turned out that it wasn't the dogs. It was the dumb ass ignorant owners who didn't train their dogs to behave or did train them to be mean and viscous. While there are some dogs that are naturally mean, it is not limited to, or even predominately,Pit Bulls. I have seen extremely mean St. Bernards and Labs, not to mention those little Chihuahuas that are always biting your Achilles tendon. Do not blame all Pit Bulls for the actions of some, enough people do that with the different races of people already.

Attempting to correct simpleminded's asinine statement is laudable but in the end he will stick with his simple minded and borderline retarded views. People like that never learn, they just keep their head firmly implanted in their buttocks.

anyone that knows me i only speak of what i have experienced for myself. i have seen many times where someone has said the dog dont bite, only to at a later time, show its true color and hurt someone real bad. yes i am aware that the way you bring up the animal and what you teach it makes a big difference but there is no way to ensure it will never do anything outside of what you teach it.

many of the dog owners i have know think of it as family so they automatically defend it as if it was, whether the dog be at fault or not. its just the same as if your brother got caught busting out a window with a rock and you not saying anything so he stays out of trouble. people with dogs do the very same thing, not to forget how many of them let the damn things shit and urinate all over the place.

how many times have you been walking down the sidewalk only to have to step over dog shit?

most people with pitts and rotts get them for one reason and one reason only. they are mean and they dont like outsiders so they are a sort of protection if you may. they will tell you time and time again the dog is nice and wont hurt a flea yet years later the dog is being put down for hurting someone. they buy the dogs because they are mean and teach them to be mean, and vicious if that may be. they want them to be a mean-ass dog for obvious reasons.

dog owners in general have no respect for others, with a few exceptions, as i have indeed seen some dog owners take proper care with them. they hold them tight(on a leash) when someone approaches, they stop the dog from barking when they are bothering others, and they maintain the dogs health. its the dog owners that dont do these simple things that are the problem, and unfortunately, they are the majority.

pitts are well known to turn on even so much as their owner. maybe you should google all the incidents where pitts have tore people the shreds and get lockjaw. you cannot tell me that pitts and like species are nice pets, they are good for outside city limits maybe but surely not in the reach of others.

its lack of respect for others thats the problem here, not whether someone agrees with me or not. as for me, i never trust a new dog ever.
