I doubt that the majority of deer poachers are "doing it for food." If you:
1) have enough money to own a deer rifle
2) have enough money to own a truck with a light on it
3) have enough free time to go hunting at night

Then you have enough money to put food on the table from the grocery store.

Poachers are just lazy, cheap, losers who give real sportsmen and women a bad name

If you:
1) have enough money to own a deer rifle
YOU MUST HAVE BOUGHT IT WHEN THE ECONOMY WAS BETTER

2) have enough money to own a truck with a light on it
YOU HAD THE FORESIGHT TO PURCHASE WHAT YOU WOULD BE NEEDING

3) have enough free time to go hunting at night
IT'S EITHER YOUR DAY OFF, OR YOU WORK THE AFTERNOON SHIFT, OR YOU'RE UNEMPLOYED

Then you have enough money to put food on the table from the grocery store.
BECAUSE ECON 101 KNOWS YOUR FINANCES BETTER THAN YOU DO

Poachers are just lazy, cheap, losers who give real sportsmen and women a bad name
POACHERS DO IT FOR THE MEAT, AND YOU PROBABLY HAVE ZERO IDEA WHAT A "REAL SPORTSMAN' IS

You fail, "Econ 101".

And you probably also FAILED eCON 101.

There is absolutely no excuse for poaching deer and anyone who condones the act is just as pitiful as the poacher himself.

NO excuse? You can't think of even ONE reason where someone might be justified in taking the life of a deer?

You obviously have led a very sheltered and fortunate life. But please don't let that cloud your thinking and make you believe that you know what is right and apropriate for OTHERS.

Then get a 2nd job, or work another shift to earn money to buy some food. Don't go poaching deer. That is a weak excuse. I am 100% behind hunting. I am 0% behind lazy jerks out shooting deer illegally and then trying to beg off with a lame "I need the meat" excuse. That's BS. Spend your time working a job like the rest of us. Not off in the woods.

You have an obvious ignorance of life in the U.S. during the Great Depression, when many families would not have survived without some opportunely taken wild protein on the table.

And that was when 90% of the population was rural and far more self-sufficient than today, when a mere 10% is rural and not nearly 100% of that number are self sufficient.

WHEN it finally hits the fan in the coming days of the looting by the greedy globalist bankers there will be a lot of sorry sorry twits like you.

When that time comes, poach away. But until that time there is no excuse.

Where to begin, well it is great that as of RIGHT NOW you have a job. I think that it is going to come down to having at least 1 job if you are lucky. Also wondering how you are feeling about all the Corporations that are PARTYING off of your dime? I do not condon "jacking" deer, but if you are hungry or better yet your children are hungry, you will most definitely find a way to feed them.

how is it "jackin'" if nobody owns the deer (and it would be shot and killed , anyway, by a licensed hunter) its just the states way of taking your money for something that should be your god given right.my ansectors hunted for tens of thousands of years, without having to obtain a license, why should i? who gives the state ownership of the animals therein? who the hell are they to say who or what is fair game, and when?why do we all have to go out in the same three-week period? have you ever seen how crowded it gets out there when the state opens their little window of opportunity to hunt?well guess what, on my land, i shoot what i want, when i want , and nobody tells me any different. deer are gods creatures , as are we, and the state shouldn't try to play "god" deciding who gets to, and when , and ,oh yes, where's you're forty bucks!

regulations are making it harder and harder for normal joes to go hunting in mass. , meanwhile, the knee-jerk, reactionary politicians are trying to do away with our right to own any weapons. god and the constitution gives us the right to defend ourselves, the state wants us to do it with rocks and pointy sticks.
