We are a small Mom and Pop shop in Healy, Alaska. This customer is writing from their frustrations in having a broken down car. We are sorry they posted this without coming to us first with those frustrations. Since this posting we have refunded them the full amount and resolved the issue to their satisfaction.

Very rude and dishonest mechanic. By his own admission does not know a thing about foreign cars (after the fact) but is still willing to guess on a problem and make you buy an expensive part, charge you even more for labor and then not even bother to test drive it and tell you its fixed, did not even make it two miles down the road. Spent $500 on what ended up being a $20 fix. STAY AWAY! FRAUDS! BAD BUSINESS!

This company has since resolved the issue and made everything right. I wish them nothing but success and prosperity in the future. I hope that my prior comments have no ill effect towards their character. They were made under duress and frustration and in no way reflect my gained respect with the way the situation was resolved. I have repeatedly tried to remove the previous post,to no avail, and will continue to do so.

We entered Denali National Park a couple of weeks ago and discovered a large stream of coolant coming from our Ford Powerstroke pickup.

On Tuesday morning we brought the truck to Gaddis Services the closest repair service. Mike Gaddis quickly diagnosed the problem as a leaking heater core. The part was ordered and received on Wednesday. And Mike stayed late and finished the job at 8 PM Wednesday evening. Our total bill was $236.

I was extremely relieved and pleased to have my truck repaired so quickly in such a remote location.

Mike and his public relations assistant Rico have my full confidence. Since the repair we have driven the truck about two thousand miles and no coolant is missing.
