Santa Cruz Chamber to honor community volunteers Whiting, Sisk ...

Three past presidents of Sunrise Rotary Club will be recognized when the Santa Cruz Chamber of Commerce honors the man and woman of the year at a dinner at 6 p.m. Nov.

The bankers, the real estate agents, and the low-paying fast-food barons (who hire Ukranian college students during the summer rush period at the boardwalk instead of locals) will SAVE US ALL.

I am surprised Bill and the Santa Cruz Chamber didn't give an award to the Travel Agency in Fresno!

Whitings foods hires very few if any of the international students. Most of them are hired by the Santa Cruz Seaside Company to work in other areas of the boardwalk. The majority of Whiting's Foods Employees are local high school and college students.
