I see where Rodney has finaly said that he was guilty of the killing of Ms. Sharpe. Everyone already know that he was upset with her finding his drug's and because she threatened to tell his
parent's. He continued to say that he was innocent and just happened to come by it after getting off work @ plant hatch. He had himself convinced of the story anyway. He even was going to get Pschy help to get on medication to help him with his guilt. I feel sorry for his parent's and pray that they get through this.

I feel sorry for an older lady who saw and felt his wrath and I think there is no excuse whatsoever including the use of drugs that he can blame this on and I don't think the state should have to pay for his treatment to handle his feelings of guilt. He should feel guilt for the rest of his worthless life and the sentence was too good for him ,the only thing he did right in all of this was to save the tax payers the cost of trying him. I've worked with the prison system before and I can promise you they are going to love Mr. Parlor especially with the attitude and temper that he has always had .Poor Poor Baby !

He should have gotten the death penalty. He has always had a bad temper and attitude. He got less than he deserves

Your right. The only person Rodney will have to answer to is God. I personally know that he asked forgiveness for his actions. And also asked the family to forgive him. And as for medicine, he was taking medicine by a psych before any of these actions took place. You are all so quick to judge. Rodney took something that he can never give back and for that he is truly sorry. It's easy to Judge someone when all you know is hear say or only the facts that a newspaper chooses to print. If I didn't know any better, since you seem to know so much about him or his case - I would say that you were related to him instead of me.

I'm hearing that this boy is doing better. I'm so glad! He is really a good boy; he just mixed up with some bad drugs. This boy normally wouldn't hurt a cat. To his family, I'm praying for ya'll. Ya'll are a fine group of people. Hand in there!

a man walks into a store. the clerk notices his drugs and knows his parents and tells him she will tell them about the drugs. this is an elderly lady, not 100 lbs in weight. the man brutally beats her to death so mom and dad wont find out. he then leaves her in her own blood, battered to death and denies any knowledge of it, thinking granny shoulsnt have known mom and dad, but i took care of that.

let's forgive him. he learned his lesson and although he deprived the little lady's family of a loved one and caused more grief than most could imagine by ruthlessly beating her to death, he is basically a good person and we can trust him around our grandmothers from now on. NOT

What I can say is this, no I'm not related to him nor do I want to be , nor would I say so if I was. I can tell you that he used to hang out with my sons often and I've known him a long time and I can tell you he exposed himself to my niece in a public place and my brother called Larry and told him to try to control him but Rodney has always been trouble and now he is where he needs to be since he copped a deal on the death penalty and knowing him as well as I do I can assure you all he regrets is getting caught!

In his defense, yes Rodney has been in trouble a good bit of his life. But, you don't know the reason's that stem from that and I'm not about to explain them all. Rodney did a terrible thing 4 1/2 years ago. And it not only turned his world upside down, the Sharpe's, but's his immediate families as well. We did not just stop loving and supporting him just because he made a terrible mistake. Some families would, but Parlor's don't! And "he" has to live with that mistake every day of his life. And I don't really care what you think about him, I just wanted to give you a little factual information. He's asked forgiveness for his actions. If your a Christian you'll know if your saved and forgiven of your sins then you'll go to Heaven.

Please let me assure you of one thing...Rodney is not perfect and neither are you! GOD will be THE FINAL JUDGE! Not you nor anyone else for that matter! The Bible informs us that a sin is a sin is a sin and dear one, he is paying for the mistake that HE made. There is not one person on this earth that is perfect and none of us have the right to pass judgement on one another. You see, here on earth, PEOPLE like to place degrees on sin; however, I want to inform you that GOD DOES NOT! If we ask GOD for forgiveness and mean what we say, HE is faithful and merciful to forgive us! I don't proclaim that what Rodney did was right, okay, nor hardly forgiveable; however, I will tell you this...I will have to answer for what I say and do here on this earth, just as every other human will have to do as well. My question to you is - ARE YOU READY TO FACE THE JUDGEMENT OF THE COMING OF THE LORD? That is what you really need to be concerned about, because my friend - GOD is coming back soon! All of this other is in the past and we can't change it! My heart aches for the Sharpe family, my family, as well as my brother. It was wrong, but I can't change it! I just have to forgive, pray about it, and try to do the best that I possibly can each day that the Lord allows me to live here on this earth. GOD BE WITH YOU ALL!!

Why don't you people leave well enough alone. The law is taking care of this situation. The Parlor's and the Sharpe's will never get over this event. They suffer DAILY! You simply think about when your stupidity gives you enough grace to get on this computer and carry on about something that does not even concern you. Yes, Rodney is a very wonderful person. A person who
allowed a horrible event to occur. He and his family and the Sharpes are paying the price for what happened. What did it cost you? So don't worry yourself about it. You may find yourself and your name on this god forsaken website.

1)This does concern me, it was in my community.
2)Rodney is not a wonderful person to some.
3)He didn't "allow" it to occur, he made it occur.

I believe if it was not for Larry, Rodney would not be where he is today. He made Rodney face the truth. He didn't let him walk out that door until the truth "was told!" It takes a strong man to make your own child stay and face the consequences. But if they don't something wrong, and you have a gut feeling somethings not right then you go with your gut. I'm sure that decision pains him daily. But as a father and Christian, it was the right choice! We could not have a better candidate for Sheriff!!!

I will say nothing further about Rodney. He did wrong he will spend the majority of his life in jail for it. He will pay a price. He is a wonderful person and if you don;t know that you don't know Rodney. Rodney has had major problems from childhood that brought about the choices and decisions that he made. They were wrong decisions. Everyone is aware of that. That is where the court sytem comes into play. He is now under the courts control. He no longer can make the decisions. What is done is done and it can't be changed. He was raised in one of the finest families in this communtity. They as well had no control over what he did. It was wrong. That is why he is in jail. As far as Larry Parlor is concerned yes, he would make a wonderful Sheriff. Now would he even consider running is another question. He probably is TOO good of a man to be Sheriff.
