Group from Alma Douglas

Milton, FL

#1 Nov 2, 2009
A group of 18 (young and older) visited the haunted forest in Hazlehurst Thursday and Saturday night. We were so pleased with the excitement received (both nights) and the well disciplines characters in all scenes. Man, you guys know how to BOOOOOOOO people. We visited other sights over the past 3 to 4 years (one in Atlanta) and all agree that you guys win the prize. Thanks for a fun time. Hazlehurst should be proud of these folks. I am from Douglas and had to post this thanks on your Web. Thanks again!!!!

I agree......a group of us teens from Uvalda left a party Saturday night and attended the event. I hate to say it but my heart is still racing from our trip through. The HF was so much fun...wish we had attended more nights. Look for us next year. By the way, the entire group operating the event were so nice.

The HF was great. Im so glad that the Uvalda and Douglas groups enjoyed being in Hazlehurst and I m glad that you enjoyed the trip through the HF. Alot of hard work must have went into this project because I agree that it was really good. It was well planned out and well staffed.

I went through two weeks in a row with some friends I lost some pee the first time and missed a lot of stuff because I was trying to get away from those ugly hants. The clown area was spooky and make me nervous. I think the chain saws made me lose my water...not sure but all I know is I had to change after getting home...good job actors. You all did a great job. By the way, I'm sorry for tearing down the fence while running.

Just want to add my two cents worth. I am one that you might say would fit in the older age groups attending. I missed going to the event last year but one thing for sure, I am glad my husband and I attended this year. We had a lot of laughs all the way through the event. We were following some teenagers who were scared even before they entered the first area. Brought back old memories. Really a fun night. We were well pleased and got our money's worth.

That is sooo funny Sandra! You are not the only so Ive heard. I was the most scared in the hospital and morgue scene. But all of it was good.
I can't wait to see what they come up with next year. It got better from the first one and I thought it was fanastic!

Dear Ms. I'm to scared to put my real name on here,I have a question.Do you have kids?If so think about having three. After graduating they move off to a town thats 2 hours away because our local joke (sorry) government has kept serious jobs ran out of town. Now imagine the only time you can see your kids or grandkids is once a month or some holidays because they can't find a descent job.My only dream was to have my kids grow up in the small town (safe environment)like I did in a town I USED TO CARE ABOUT.NOW ask me about who /or what busted my bubble.

No, Nathan. What is sad is that you have to go and positively judge your own comment because no one else will. Stay in Savannah or Denton or wherever you claim to live. Hazlehurst does not need you.

Were you the kid that always got picked on in school? Did you get left out when all the little kiddies were having birthday parties? You know, therapy really does help. Call someone, sit on a sofa somewhere, and talk out your problems. If that doesn't work, have yourself committed somewhere.

I will take the bait.

Who or what burst your bubble? Why can't you just let people talk about having a good time? Those kids and their parents worked very hard to make the haunted forest. A lot of planning goes into something like that. It is a fundraiser for the baseball team, I believe.

Maybe if you were a more likeable(sp) person, your children and grandchildren wouldn't live so far from you. Ever think they moved to get away from YOU?

Sum1 I can understand your hostility towards him, But something is troubling me about who this person says they have been posting under. I have read many posts by swamprat and I have not at this point seen Him/Her be aggressive, Their posts have always been uplifting and greatful. I could be wrong but I have a feeling that we are being played by someone else.

Just a thought..

I went this past weekend! They did a really good job again. You can take all age kids it is really
not all that scary. The deco is great. I really enjoyed it. Now some parts are real scary so prepare your group. Your okay except for a few quick spots.
