Is southeastern bank in Hazlehurst closing?

With the business our local business owners received this christmas from Hazlehurst, this would not surprise me....sad if true

I hope the other banks don't close in Hazlehurst that would mean alot of business would close down too. We have already had a lot in of business to close in Hazlehurst. We can't stand for nothing else to close down.

I bank out of town because the banks in hazlehurst dont know you if your not loaded. your just a peon to them. so as far as I care they can all close down.

Cant say much about Southeastern Back, never used them, but Bank of Hazlehurst charges terrible fees. I opened an account, and closed it the next month, use a Credit Union instead, much better fees.

I have always banked with Southeastern and I am not a person that would be considered "loaded" ... very far from it. However, they have always treated me and my family with the utmost respect. I am sorry to see them leave and that their employees are now facing unemployment.

Their business ethics are so wrong It's your money they have no right to hold your funds and create disaster with your account and extra fee's.
