Why do you thing the city is "just trying to get at Ray & Crystal". Doesn't the ordinance apply to everyone doing business? Why are previous vendors telling out in the public that they were told not to buy a business license? If a taxpaper tells me I don't have to pay my property or personal vehicle taxes, does that mean I don't have to. If the city puts a lien on my property, am I suppose to "think the city is picking on me"? Is there any difference in this? I do not see any.
cause the city enforced the law differently for different folks. If the city puts a lien on your property for non payment, they really should put a lien on everyone property that hasn't paid their property tax? If they only put a lien on your property, when their where others that hadn't paid their taxes, they would be picking on you now wouldn't they?

If several people in town are behind on their property taxes and you are the only one that ends up with the penalty, then quess what. They are picking on you!

Charlie's Antique Store was in Hazel, Kentucky before Ray Gough was in Hazel, Kentucky. Hazel was a city when it sold a long time ago and it is still a city. What makes people think that Hazel is going "to die"? The antique stores are not all that make Hazel. Property tax, fire tax, vehicle tax are also sources of income in the city besides the business license. Hazel has had a lumber company, drug stores, full service stations, dry cleaners, laundromat, beauty shops, barber shop and others that have come and gone, BUT, Hazel is still a city on the map and will be even though Charlie's Antique store is closed. I
Protemus is also still on the map. So is New Providence and Crossland. Such special places.

If several people owe property taxes and your property is the only one that ends up with a lien, that would be picking on you.

Ray Gough has to have an IQ that equals the temperature of Moscow or he thinks he's one of those that are entitled and the rules dont apply to me . Dude wake up...your so wrong ! The world was here before you were and it doesn't owe you a thing !
Let me see if i get this correct,, he rents booths to people and sells there goods for them at a small profit and pays taxes.( Mainly a middle man). Also states for the best interest of his clients he will not release there names.
Has anyone ever told this goof about " THE RIGHT TO PUBLIC RECORDS "
Another thing Gough sells a product for his client, receiving payment equals liabilty. An easy way to look at it,, he sells product, buyer walks outside side walk of Hazel and the product kills someone . Guess what ... here comes a big lawsuit towards Gough, with Gough being liable,, I promise you he would release the owners name of the booth quicker than a high school girl getting her prom dress off !!!
A man that WONT face you on a issue, but sends moles with video cams to tape meetings and post on U - Tube tells you what kind of guy he is. Need I say more ?
A word the the wise Mr. Gough and you video cam to use for slander. You need to stop and think about the video cams that are looking at you !
12000.00 payment for good will,, lmao,, thats the best joke ive heard all year
