I went to talk to the manager because my order was messed up and she was very rude, her name was Mandy, fat, ugly, nasty looking bitch and was not friendly and no help, the service is horrible and the workers are not friendly, and to top it off there were flies and gnats throughout the entire dining room. I will never go back!!

My family and I finally went and tried out Penn Station. Our sandwiches were pretty good. I don't think the food was quite as good as the one in Paducah, but it was good. The workers were very friendly. The problem we had was that my daughter and I got our food a full ten minutes before my husband got his. Granted, he had ordered a different type of sandwich that probably took longer to cook, but that cannot be uncommon and should have been accounted for. It was awkward and not very professional. Maybe this was just an oversight on their part on that day or something. We'll be back to try it again, I'm sure.

I hope everyone enjoys the sandwiches because every single one of them is contaminated. They have raw chicken and raw beef containers stored right next to each other. When they pull raw chicken out of the container it occasionally falls into the raw beef container and vice versa. The tongs they use aren't color coded so they get swapped between the raw chicken and raw beef, not to mention the ham, turkey, and other ingredients. The spatula's they use on the grill are not color coded so those are swapped between the raw chicken and beef as well. They aren't worried about quality. The only thing they care about is getting your sandwich out in a timely manner. So yes if your food does fall on the floor they do pick it up and serve it to you so they don't have to remake it. Management is a joke. Don't expect to be hired for management even if you're qualified. They do discriminate against the National Guard because they wouldn't promote him/her based on their service and fired them shortly after their return from his/her annual training. This person didn't have any write-ups or complaints. They also gave this person managerial responsibilities, gave them a key to the store yet didn't want to pay them for the job. The labor board is investigating them and soon the health department will be too. If you've gotten sick after eating at Penn Station East Coast Subs now you know why.

You are incorrect, but that doesn't surprise me, I was actually a customer with a bad dining experience, but it sounds like its just as nasty in the cooking area as it is in the dining area! And now I will give it a rest!!

If the same pair of tongs touched raw beef and then raw chicken there is no health risk there. If a pair of tongs touched both raw chicken and cooked chicken then there absolutely is an issue there. The fact that two different raw meats are stored next to each other isn't a health risk either. IF their intent is to be cooked they can be stored right next to each other all day long. You just sound like a disgruntled former employee who really doesn't know as much as you think you do.

If you are just an unhappy customer, how exactly do you explain knowing how they handle their food, how it is stored and the tongs not being color coded.

yeah, why did they fire you, for lying probably.

I am not sticking up for them, but I do not care when a disgruntled former employee tries to ruin a business strictly out of revenge.
