oh lQQkie, the arisock convention was at an all time high last night. Looks like they spent some major time running their mouths about me. Good for them, must mean I really chap their ass with the facts posted and the little slogans they try to make their own.

Whitehair, thanks for the nice post, I really did enjoy that football game last night. Not a sock, has always used the same name/location since 2010. Just a confused teabagger.

CHEMTRAIL, all you do is complain about Cali, yet you do it on a political thread featuring KENTUCKY politics instead of the thousands listed or hey one of your own threads in CALIFORNIA. You have nothing to offer to this thread about politics except for the asskissing you do the lunatic, you are just part of her pit bulls biting and chomping at anyone that isn't a repuke. Don't believe you are an arisock.

Jay, don't believe you are an arisock, but you might as well be, you are always using his terms so you must admire him and wish to be like him. You also dwell on every word I say while at the same time saying I don't matter. Proving otherwise. Keep it up. I really cold careless what some anonymous poster thinks about me. You suck anyway. You are a repuke.

You left no doubt starting 20 July when you made up all those avatars and bragged about your "hackerer" abilities and skills making multiple accounts, posting links, posting porn, and threatening to hack people to expose them, not to mention sending ILIH messages trying to send her flowers and other creepy things. Top Dems To GOP: Dream On, You’ll Never Touch Obamacare

With only a handful of days on the legislative calendar before funding runs out for the federal government, congressional leaders gave no public sign Thursday of being any closer to a deal.

Republican leaders continue to grapple with demands from their conservative wing to defund Obamacare as part of any deal to fund the government. For their part, Democratic leaders had a simple message: Dream on, we’ll never let you touch Obamacare.

Both sides continue to view a continuing resolution to keep the government funded temporarily past Sept. 30 as the most likely legislative vehicle to avoid a government shutdown. But those talks are being stymied by the House GOP’s internal disagreement on whether defunding Obamacare should be the price they exact from Democrats for allowing the federal government to remain in business. The message from conservatives to their own leaders: shut down the government unless Democrats blink and defund Obamacare or we’ll unleash the dogs on you.

While House Republican leaders thought they had worked out a way to appease conservatives on Obamacare — a show vote to defund Obamacare but steer clear of a shutdown threat — they were forced to delay that gambit Wednesday amid a mutiny on their right flank.

Moments later, Senate Democratic leaders flatly dismissed a delay of Obamacare and warned that attempting to do so would lead to a government shutdown.

“I told [Boehner] very directly that all these things they’re trying to do on Obamacare is a waste of their time,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) told reporters.“Let’s stop playing these really juvenile political games.”

“Those in touch with reality should understand that passing a clean CR is the right thing to do,” he said.“Their direction is a direction to shut down the government.… If Republican leaders keep giving into tea party demands they must be rooting for a shutdown.”

The White House also reiterated Thursday that President Barack Obama would reject efforts to undermine Obamacare.“We will not accept anything that delays or defunds Obamacare,” spokesman Jay Carney told reporters.

The House GOP’s pickle is made worse by the fact that they want to avoid a government shutdown because they recognize their party is likely to be blamed for it. But the craving on the right for an all-out war has leaders exploring ways to placate them — so far to no avail.

“We’ll continue to do everything we can to repeal, dismantle or defund Obamacare,” Boehner told reporters, praising House passage Thursday of the party’s 41st attempt to repeal or dismantle the health care reform law.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) invited Republicans to battle it out over Obamacare in the mid-term elections and try defund the law if they win.“But not at the expense of average Americans,” he said.“Republicans should train their efforts to 2014.”

“The more reasonable voices will prevail,” Schumer said.“But we’re going to have to go through a lot of convolution and speeches and paralysis before that happens.”

At the end of the day the Obamacare spat, while politically significant in a variety of ways, is not what the real debate over the continuing resolution will be about. The real negotiations will be about what level to fund the government at and what to do about sequestration. But the box that GOP leaders find themselves in over Obamacare could splinter the House majority to such a degree that it hands the initiative to Democrats.

As the shutdown deadline looms, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) warned Thursday that the week-long recess at the end of September may be canceled.

“The anarchists are winning,” lamented Reid. He added:“I like John Boehner. I really do. But I do feel sorry for him.”

New report:'Obamacare' has saved Americans over $1 billion in 2012

Despite constant efforts by the Republican party, the Affordable Care Act is actually working.
Over 40 times in Congress Republicans have attempted to pass legislation that would repeal the Affordable Care Act, or "Obamacare." Whether it's the talking heads on Fox News or conservatives voices on the radio, Republicans have used the right-wing media to lead the anti-Obamacare train across America. While many on the political right are quick to blame President Obama's health care law for all of economic problems in the country, the reality is that it just isn't so.

According to a new detailed report by the Department of Health and Human Services, Americans saved over $1 billion in 2012 alone due to the saving brought on by "Obamacare."

"An analysis from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) of rate review activities in calendar year (CY) 2012 shows that the rate review process saved consumers approximately $1.2 billion on their premiums when compared to the amount initially requested by insurers. These savings accrued to 6.8 million people.

In the individual market, the average rate request increase dropped by 12 percent (from 8.1 percent to 7.1 percent) after rate review, saving consumers an estimated $311 million. Similarly, in the small group market, the average rate increase request declined by 19 percent (from 5.8 percent to 4.7 percent), saving consumers an estimated $866 million after rate review. This is in addition to the $500 million in medical loss ratio rebates for 2012, for a total $1.7 billion in savings in 2012."

As Americans begin to enter the health exchange and the new health care law goes into full effect, millions of Americans will finally be able to afford health care. Republicans are expected to continue to push back and even attempt to repeal the health care reform, but as more studies are released showing the positive impact of "Obamacare," the conservative plan is die at the door step.

Leaving Assad unpunished leaves a bad taste in my mouth but this is probably the best solution for us diplomatically in the region.
Putin now shares responsibility and has incentive to see that the all goes according the the agreement.
Keep in mind that Iran has been showing signs of wanting to become a bit more cooperative. It would be a shame to give them reason to revert to their old rhetoric.

Yet another glaring example of why tax cuts for big businesses are destroying our economy.

Intel Cut Jobs Before New Plant Closing

HUDSON — In the seven years since the state increased a tax break to Intel almost tenfold, to as much as $300 million, the computer chip giant has cut more than 600 jobs at its facilities in Hudson and now plans to eliminate another 700 when it closes a factory in town next year.

Officials with the Patrick administration said they are reviewing whether to end Intel’s tax break early because of the pending plant closing. However, it does not appear the state can force Intel to repay any of the tax benefits it claimed during the period it was cutting jobs, as the state law that authorized the deal at the time did not provide for so-called claw back provisions, except in cases of fraud.“Some companies don’t meet their projections,” said Greg Bialecki, the state’s economic development chief.“That is a fact of life.”

http://www.boston.com/business/technology/201...

Guess who was governor when those tax cuts went into effect? Good old Mittens. Guess which party has received the liar's (no, I don't mean lion's) share of Intel PAC money? The GOP.

Last year the Dems got a little more - maybe Intel thought that would allow them to keep that juicy tax break and bonuses for execs until they closed their doors?

It may very well have worked, since in the six years he's been in office, Democratic governor Patrick has done nothing about it. But now his administration is "looking into" ending a tax break that should have ended with the first mass layoff. Way to stay on top of things there, Deval.*rme*

Hello Crow, I'm not sure what to think of this latest plan. I think that tyrant should face the war crimes he committed. Oh well, I guess we will see. I doubt that it is anywhere over.

I see the circus clowns were busy last night defending ari and his socks. NG will catch on soon enough if he pays attention to the language, phrases, and location spins.

I hope you have a wonderful day. It has been a glorious morning and I plan to wash and wax my car this afternoon. Football game at the HS was fun and exciting. It has been awhile since football doesn't interest me much. I love Basketball, especially UK basketball. 34 more days until Midnight Madness kicks it off. We have UK parties all season long. Love them.

Great posts last night. I stayed at my sister's and came home early this morning so I just scanned the posts, mostly about me which I won't bother addressing. I see aribobbysocks has re-written our posts to fit his sick humor. House GOP Leaders Furious With Tea Party Senators’ Hard Line On Obamacare

House Republican leadership is furious with ultraconservative Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) whom they see as hobbling their efforts to secure an achievable spending victory by insisting on threatening a government shutdown over the unachievable goal of defunding Obamacare.

http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2013/09/ho...

They should push aside those jr senators and show them how to govern for once. But they will just huff and puff and get nothing done. Just continue eating their own right up until election only to find out they are still the MINORITY in this country. Maybe they should relocate to Russia with their favorite hero traitor snowden.

"Many in this group (of the Tea Party) didn't come to power to get things done. They came to power to keep things from getting done." and they are doing a great job of it.

Ted Cruz and others in the Tea Party want to shut the US government down if they can't defund Obamacare (40 appeal attempts so far wasting tax payer dollars).
