I do remember this happening years ago. The boy was about 15 years old, seems like he was from around Louisville. He was beaten to death during a group punishment session. I don't recall anyone ever being held responsible in this crime.

Unsolved murders in Morgan Co is nothing new. A case back about 30 years ago a Caskey women went missing and her body was latter found in Cave Run Lake. She was a mother, and that investigation was dropped Her children never received justice for their mothers murder

This is all so uncalled for and the ones that are suppose to prosecuting this case. I hope they never have a restful night, until they do the right thing. The Devil comes in many forms. Let God be our judge and put sleepness nights on the ones who are covering up things for bad people, because therefore you are bad also.

It was Ole ugly "Jug Head" opal's husband Roy Caskey. His daughter, the youngest one told it at school and begged teachers and staff to please help her. She was afraid of her father and the other daughter was on her senior trip! And the youngest was afraid at home with only her dad at home cuz he killed her mother. Morgan is dirtier than satans ass!

I was on the senior trip with her when they had to fly her back home because her mother came up missing. We felt sorry about that, it was told that she found her mom's wedding band in her dad's pants pocket when she went to do laundry right after her mom came up missing. No one seem to believe the girls about any of this. I am guessing they will have to deal with it in their own way.

I lived in West Liberty as a child and remember some talk about the Caskey murder in the 80's. I went to see if I could read anything about it and came up with a Caskey woman who died of an uninvestigated alleged suicide by rifle in 1941 in West Liberty. Wonder if this is any relation to Ron Caskey?
CASKEY, Jennie
1941
WEST LIBERTY WOMAN DIES OF RIFLE WOUND
Wife of Former Judge Found In Barn Loft West Liberty, Ky.
Mrs. Jennie Caskey, wife of former Morgan County Judge W. A. Caskey, succumbed Tuesday afternoon, a few minutes after she was found in a barn on the Caskey place, shot through the mouth with a .22 calibre rifle. Caskey, who operates a store in West Liberty, found her shortly after noon and told authorities that a note, reading "The Lord Is Calling Me Home--Jennie", was discovered in the pocket of his wife's coat. The muzzle of the rifle apparantly was in Mrs. Caskey's mouth when the shot was fired. The former judge said that when he came home he found Mrs. Caskey missing and instituted a search which led to the discovery of the mortally wounded woman in the barn loft. No inquest was held, it was reported. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at ten o'clock in the West Liberty Methodist church. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, Robert and Richard Caskey and two daughters, Mrs. Georgia Stamper and Miss Isabella Caskey. Paintsville Herald Thursday January 15, 1941

Her husband did it but they couldn't prove it
