Well since you know SO much about it pal! Do you realize that if they run natural gas in a power plant that your chances of it blowing up sky rocket! Not only that but it affects the water supply...bc methane will be in it. Not only that but it takes several several millions of dollars to switch to natural gas, and several years! Do you also realize that the computer microchips are made of coal as well?? Do you also realize that if there is no coal there is no coal severance money that pays maintenance on the roads, that school kids you have or in your family are supported with. Do you realize that someone somewhere along your family history was a coalminer? I'm sure you are for Obama as well do you realize that he is a walking time bomb? He is fulfilling the last days of the world right before your eyes! Same sex marriage, the wars across seas, all of the signs read the bible! It will scare you we are in our last days! Obama is just helping the fulfillment go a little quicker! Anyways go a head come on here bash me whatever I don't care...everyone is entitle to an opinion and freedom of speech! But you know whether you want to admit it or not that in order for this area keep from becoming a ghost town you need COAL! And for the record and just so you know...it's snowing outside, cold, wet.. Your warm, dry and your lights are on....because a miner!!! Thank a Miner....dont worry I know your too proud to, I'll Thank my husband for you when he gets home tonight!
My lights are not on because of coal, actually! I have plenty of people who do their jobs that I would thank, before I would thank a miner for anything. I am for Obama, BTW. I have had miners in my family, plenty actually. Just like I am sure that you have people in your family who need government assistance, but you are voting Romney.. the man who wants all of that to be gone. Do you or your husband own a gun? Not for long, when Romney gets in. You people need to learn some facts before voting just because you think Romney will "save coal". Did you know that Romney had a coal plant shut down a few years back, saying that "this plant kills people"? Romney isn't for coal and he don't give a shit about your families either.

The coal industry has lost thousands of jobs under the Obama term and if this would have been Toyota or UPS or any other industry the news media would have been all over this. As for your guns Obama and Hillary Clinton are trying to go through the United Nations to have a GLOBAL GUN BAN TREATY, so who do you think is after your guns and every right that we have as AMERICANS.

. FYI I never said I was voting for Romney as far as I can recal! And as far government assistance....honey I live in my dream home and have 3 different vehicles one of which is a 2013 is almost paid for just like everything else own, that we have worked hard to pay for. As far as my family goes....if they have gotten assistance that's them, I helped pay for it, and quite frankly there are some people in this world that actually need it. And just so you know my mother has been handi cap since birth has NEVER gotten government assistance NOR does she have a medical card she pays for her insurance just like everyone else....when someone like her deserves assistance! As far as Romney goes I will say this at least he worships our Lord and is not a Muslim! What you fail to realize is that the rapture is real...whether or not you want believe or even if your scared to believe it! Obama is just helping make it sooner! At least if Romney goes it he has morals and can maybe turn the world around so everyone can see there children and grand children grow up! I simply stated I was for COAL and The Lord not Obama or Romney! And as far as Romney shutting down coal well I look at it this way if coal is going to be over with and they are going to do what they can to close everything down I'd rather the nation be ran by a Godly man instead of the anti Christ! Guns yea sure I have am entire gun cabinet full, who doesn't? We live in south eastern ky there are dope heads everywhere that will try to steal anything for their next fix! Oh yea and that thing you have called pride?? You better loose it before someone else comes along and strips you of it.

Officially, it's Christian. Even though he was raised in a more secular household... Hence, his open-mindedness on a lot of topics. Stop spewing your ignorance and do some research. Are you that damn lazy and misinformed?

& technically, religious views/beliefs have absolutely nothing to do with how a person runs office. There's actually evidence and quotes of our FOUNDING FATHERS being agnostic/atheist. How does that make you feel?

I just cannot get over how "Christian" you think that you are. You sat there and bragged about your "dream home" and "2013 cars" in the same paragraph as saying that since you are not on government assistance, so you pretty much don't care if Romney plans to do away with it. Since you want to talk about the bible so much, lets quote it for you, because it talks pretty strongly about the wealthy being such greedy people and hardly making it into heaven.

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." -- Matthew 19:23-24, Mark 10:23-25

"Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you." -- James 5:1

The 1796 Treaty with Tripoli states that the United States was "not in any sense founded on the Christian religion" This treaty was written under the presidency of George Washington and signed under the presidency of John Adams.

"Shake off all the fears of servile prejudices, under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call on her tribunal for every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear." --- Thomas Jefferson, letter to Peter Carr, Aug. 10, 1787

"There is not one redeeming feature in our superstition of Christianity. It has made one half the world fools, and the other half hypocrites." - Thomas Jefferson

"It is the fable of Jesus Christ, as told in the New Testament, and the wild and visionary doctrine raised thereon, against which I contend. The story, taking it as it is told, is blasphemously obscene.- Thomas Paine

"Religious bondage shackles and debilitates the mind and unfits it for every noble enterprise." - James Madison

Rich! Nor did I ever say I was rich! I like to have nice things! We work hard for what we have! Once again! Assuming! As far as my home is concerned I have put a lot of blood sweat and tears into it! It has took since 2009 to complete my home we done just about everything our selves! A far as government assistance I never said I was against it either. I simply do not like Obama period. Like I said b4 everyone is entitled to there own opinion. It doesn't matter who you vote for anyways. God has a plan and it will carry on no matter who is president. Oh and I live in southeastern ky not hazard or a round it actually I'm originally from there that's it. Wealthy I am not. We are hard workers that do everything possible to make a good life for our kids, so they have a home to grow up in clothes on their back and food in their belly! We want to give them the idea childhood and that's what we are trying our best to do. And I was not bragging about or my vehicle I'm simply saying that coal has paid for those things. I'm sorry you took those things out of context. As far as the quotes good job. As far as the biblical facts good job but no one can judge me or decided whether I make it to Heaven or not only Jesus Christ. With that being said good argument, you should get into politics, you would do great. I will not be replying on here anymore I have a sick child to tend to. Best of luck to u

Thank you Derp! You all have hit on so many topics I had decided to just back out. That's the best thing to do when your dealing with ignorance! Sure, we all want a Christian president but our founding fathers granted us all freedom of religion! That includes Muslims, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist and whatever else is out there! There's also separation of church and state. Its hard to be a Christian and be a Patriot. And global warming...if people can't see what's happening all around them, but it doesn't really matter things have went on for so long there's probably no reversing it now anyway. Derp you are a realist and thanks for taking up for me.
