I am having to give my daughter money until she gets her financial aid that I can't spare. The students should act like the dam welfare check people and get crazy cause their money is late.

It releases the same time every year.

If students got it early, many of them, would not even show up to school. Once the students get that money, many quit coming to clas.

If you ask me, before students can receive that money, they should have to complete a semester of college, to even be considered for financial aid.

It doesn't matter how you act, it is released at the same time every year. How about....tell your daughter to get a job and stop trying to live off a check that only comes twice a year anyway. Financial aid is supposed to be funding for school, not a means of living!!

I absolutely agree. Many are going just to receive financial aid.

You likely needed to file a SAP appeal, if you haven't, which is a true nightmare. You're likely on academic probation for withdrawing. The government wants their money back, for you withdrawing. Then you have to file SAP, and get approved by a panel of people. You get to encounter all kinds of pricks in the process! You do meet a few helpful people though, who actually want to do their job and help students. I got told to go to the Vice President's office, and he chewed me out, for not going to somebody else, after that person that he told me to see, was the person that originally told me to see him.

Best to fork over the $400 for the class, and collect your money February 7th.

Basically. You fail, you pay. It's unfair at the time, but looking back, it is easy to understand. Can't freeride forever.
