Newer company, started by the guy that owned frasure creek, him and Dooney Jones, Dooney is vp went with him to start Revalation, they are slow now from what I hear havent had many orders lately, opened the old falcon tipple up down towards jackson, hear rumors they are trying to get land adjacent to Frasure Creek and rumor at one time they were buying frasure creek back, new equipment i think 18hr but jobs are a good drive away from hazard. Would be a good job for you.

They just bought our company out and are laying off all of us and bring their men in, sounds pretty crappy to me.

they're simply buying up mines that haven't been producing the expected amount of coal and bringing in qualified miners to get the coal production back up. the only ones laid off are the ones deemed slow-workers by management reports

No its not slow workers, and we send out plenty of coal. They are cutting trucks back and will be sending out less coal. Giving our men the option to go from days to night shift. sound to be a pretty crappy company.

You better be glad if you have a job. For years now many have been complaining because they have to work to much. It seems no one appreciates there job anymore.

They bought a bunch of Arch(ICG) old jobs out. Ones that aren't currently in production. Hope they hurry and get started on those jobs. I think the above mentioned LCC is one of the companies or jobsites that Arch didn't have any plans for.

LLC stands for limited liability company. Sorta like inc. stands for incorporated.

Yeah, LLC does mean that, but if you'd read closer, the man said LCC..........which in this case, stands for Lexington Coal Company. LCC is mostly old jobs that were shut down or barely scraping by. It was set up when Wilbur Marshall bought out Horizon. All of the good jobs and property went on to become International Coal Group, while the others that were not running or had lower quality morphed into Lexington Coal Company. I hope this post helps to educate you a little better. The next time you get on a computer and try to "show-off" your knowledge, maybe it would help to know what you are talking about. Your welcome.

If you must correct someone... Know your facts.

Who is Wilbur Marshall? What part did he play in forming ICG?

Maybe you should research Wilbur Ross. Show us "your" knowledge.
