Ain't nobody made that girl sell drugs. Quit blaming everything on "crackers" ... always blaming crackers. If you'd quit wasting so much time blaming crackers you might make something out of ya life you ignorantassfool.

I'm pretty sure her daddy was a drug dealer and her momma has housed more than one man involved in drugs in one way or another, so she's been exposed to the lifestyle a big part of her life. She's 18 and legally an adult, but she's very emotionally immature. If there is videotape of her selling drugs in the school then she should be removed from the basketball team...no questions asked, and if it's still available, she should be moved to alternative schooling. That being said, if I go to the next PCC girls basketball game I'd almost bet she'll be there in uniform. At most she'll be suspended for a game or two. They'll act like they're trying to help her by letting her play, then when they're done using her to win games they'll wash their hands of her.

you are innocent until proven guilty in this country...they cannot possibly remove her from a basketball team...accusations, video, whatever until a court of law proves her guilty...and chances of her getting removed from a team for a misdemeanor are slim to none...is it right for her to get away with it if she done it, no...is it what the law of this country states, yes...you cannot possibly hold a school system responsible for any higher standards than that of our court system...it is sad, but i know for fact (because i have worked in this town in every single school...hazard included) that there are lots of athletes that have drug related issues that get swept under the rug...i pray that the girl uses this as a learning experience and does throw her life away...many of the students in this town live in situations that drug use and dealing is a way of life they are raised in...i pray that she uses her skills and abilities to break out of that life...that is the best we can hope for for any of them....

I know you might what to trash talk this girl but.please. just please. This young woman comes from a rough family. She has worked hard and is smart when she applys herself. She is great at sports I don't think kicking her from sports In the answer in this situation. The coach and courts will decide the best punishment for her. So please stop talking about her.

She needs to be held accountable fir her actions. Making excuses for her will only hurt her in the long run.

...but if school officials have a video that shows a student athlete selling drugs they should have no place on a basketball court the following week. That's what's wrong with so many young people today... they have no concept of consequences. And even though she's still in high school, she's 18 and an adult in the eyes of the law. What message does it send to simply give a little slap on the wrist for selling drugs in school? So I guess on Monday my child can go to school and sell some weed for her lunch money and gas home... and she damn well better get the same little slap on the wrist for it.

I am from Perry County and it shames me to death how the people have changed. At one point there would never be an argument about drugs or promisuos living. People had limits and morals;the change cannot be blamed souly on the school system. The problem is how the whole community has frogotten how to behave themselves, and families are no longer a blessing. I remember a time when neighbors brought each other food but now you can't even leave your house with out concern.

Not surprised at all, she is out of control. Really sad she is a great ball player. Maybe Michelle Pray can step up and help with her, because from what I hear her mom doesn't support her at all doesn't even come to ball games. Hope things work out for her. Word has it she was selling pills at PCC
Damn, this is a new beginning, even for PCC. A black, drug dealing, basketball player (no problem, they said that she is a good basketball player-she's forgiven). Is she from Combs??

What if my child sells or gets caught with drugs on school property? What will Principal Feltner, Athletic Director Randy Napier, Superintendent Jett, or our School Board Members do. All I can say is this is public record and if my child is treated any different or unfair ... then the school system is looking at a lawsuit. Zero Tolerance is the only way to keep drugs out. Help a student out, after all their in a public schools. To allow this without punishment will only promote the huge drug problem we have. Schools are for teaching. Lets teach the most valuable lesson we can. RIGHT AND WRONG. LEGAL OR ILLEGAL . These young people will be the ones working in this town in a few years. Let's teach them to work at having a legal job to make a living.
