Hi there. I am sure you will find someone. It just takes time. I am a single, professional man. I am in my forties and recently divorced. I like to think that I am a nice looking man. I get told that a lot . ( Maybe people are lying just to make me feel good :)) I am six two, blonde hair, blue eyes and one ninety. None smoker, very clean cut, nice dresser and well mannered. I drink sometimes ;honestly, I do get drunk on occasion. So far, so good though :) I love good books, arts, museums and those sorts of thigs ; however, I am just as happy going to flea markets and yard sales. I am not overly religious, but do respect church people and go now and then. Family, elderly people, and children are certainly gifts that should never be taken lightly. It really is true. The best things in life are free. Sitting on the front porch and watching it rain with my dog means more than any money on earth. I do well financially ; yet money does not mean that much as I get older . I think I am at my best when taking my kayak on the river or sky diving. To me both of these things free me from all of the obligations i have. Just for a while, no phone calls, pagers going off, or paper work to do. You will find goodness one day and then you will have that time when you will feel like all is right with the world. I wish that for anyone, It is something very special.Take your time. Good things will happen for you when you quit worrying about meeting someone. Love seeks to find goodness :) As for me, still hoping. I do get tired of being alone sometimes ; Yet, I know things will happen when they are suppose to. Take care.

I was married for a very long time. After my divorce, I felt totally lost. For so many years, I had someone by my side. I naturally thought the best way to fix this was with someone else. Needless to say, after dating a while, I came to the conclusion that nothing or anyone could fix me. I really did not have anything to offer to anyone else. Also, I realized that it was not fair to just lead someone on. I had to spend time with myself. It was hard at first. I will not lie to you. However, after a while, the hurt started going away and I started learning things about me that I really did not know. I like me now. Now I feel like I do have something to offer and am a lot wiser. I was cold, cyinical and untrusting after my divorce. Prior to my marriage, I was always the kind of person that believed in real love. I belived that good always triumphs over evil and at the end of the movie the guy always gets the girl.I guess I was somewhat of a hopless romantic. I gradually realized that I had changed for the worse. Now, I am back to the old me. I refuse to let past experiences color my view of life. I do not feel like I have to have someone to be happy. It would be nice though. I think we all crave companionship. Humans are just social creatures.I know someone good is out there just waiting. Someone like that is out there for you too. You just have to let go and let God bring that person to you. I really belive this can happen. Please do not get me wrong. I am by no means super religious ; However, I am also not so stupid that I do not belive that God can bring someone to me. Love, fate, serendepity, or whatever you want to call it will do this one day for you also. I have no idea who you are but wish good things for you :)
