Look at the pictures of the bike.... He was going TOO fast for that area. It's a 35mph zone and that bike is literally shredded which is a sign it was probably doing double that.
I am in deep sorrow for the mans family especially the boy who lost his daddy, no child should feel this. But there's a time to lay childish habits down and realize how much ur risking and how many it will affect...
he wasn't going "TOO Fast", he stopped like he was supposed to.

I agree with all the other posts about keeping comments to yourself. Shaun was a great father -- Braxton was the center of his world. As well as Shaun being the center of Braxton's. I hate so badly that this happened. Shaun has been talked about badly by so many people throughout his life, its time to talk about the good moments in his life. If you truly knew Shaun, he would have wanted everyone to leave him alone and comfort his family. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

he wasn't 'acting wild', he just got finished eating KFC, he got on his bike, & at the hump, he stopped like he was supposed to, but the 'elderly woman' driving OF COURSE ran the stop sign, she shouldnt've even be driving anymore! & yeah, actually, I do wish he is in heaven, but i am really sick of people hatin' on Shaun, all he ever did was love to ride! & yet you people want to act like he was nothing, he had a kid & dont say "what do you expect", sure stuff like this happens all the time, but that old-time lady shpuldve stopped at the stop sign like she was supposed to! Shaun didn't deserve this, he was a good guy! & he don't need pathetic losers like you talkin about him!!
he t-boned the car.. look at the bike wish they had took the pic when the car was still there, http://hazard-herald.com/pages/full_story/pus...

I agree, that is a bad spot. KFC may want to think about redesigning. Sounds to me like this was just a bad, bad accident. Pointing the finger is not going to being him back.

KFC doesn't need to change anything.... Not their responsibility to accommodate their structure for dangerous drivers.... They had nothing to do with the accident

I'm not going to get on here and argue about anything, but seriously, you think because he was going fast he lost his life or because someone may have pulled out in front of him because they didn't stop at a stop sign? Who's to say that had the people stopped when they were supposed to that he would have passed or been alive today?
I think the blaming needs to stop. This family has lost a loved one and getting on this site to bash about his speed is uncalled for!!!
I was in my backyard when he went by...I commented to my friend "hes gonna get killed going that fast" & the next thing I heard was the crash!! Doesn't matter who was at fault....SPEED KILLS & he might have been able to react had he not been going so fast. The speed limit I'm sure isn't 60 on N main & he was doing at least that. 35 & he might still be alive....so sad this happened but speed was a factor.

As with any ACCIDENT there are many factors that lead up to the event! I'm sure Shaun in no way intended for that to be his last ride or to leave his son on this earth without him. At the same time I'm sure the couple in the car never intended to pullout in front of a motorcycle. Very seldom does car veruses motorcycle ever turnout good for the motorcycle rider. Unfortunately we live in a world were horrible accidents happen daily. I pray for all involved and their families.

i can't seem to figure out where you could live that would give you the impression he was going 60.because as i understand it,he had just came out of kfc(the building) got on his bike rode around kfc,and pulled out at the drive thru.was he going 35? i can't say for sure, probably not.was he going 60? no way he could have gotten to 60 by that point. you are clearly exaggerating.theres no need in that. whether it was 40,50,60 we don't know. we're in no way trained to know what speed he was going.you think you could hear it and know how fast he was going? some awesome skills you got going on there. i don't know this to be true, but i was told he was hit also after hitting the car. i would think that is what caused the death, not the speed. i'm not saying that speed doesn't kill. it does, but this was a tragic accident. Shaun was a good friend of mine, but i am in no way placing blame. thats not for me to do. an accident is an accident and unless there are charges filed on someone, there is no one to blame. that means it was an accident. As much as we all loved Shaun accidents do happen, and they happen to good people. this has proved that.Everything else is up to the police and the family.leave it alone. its not our business, and thats what Shaun would say. he did not like people in his business. if he wanted you to know he would tell you,and he would tell everyone to mind their own business. let his dad and the police deal with it. I feel sympathy for the family. Saying that he was going too fast doesn't change that it is an awful situation. It is a fact, he was speeding.. and maybe if he was going the speed limit, it would have saved his life.
