medical marijuana in kentucky

Kentucky legislators have been dragging their feet for years on medical marijuana. Fortunately, rather than being discouraged, Sen. Perry Clark (D-Louisville) has vowed to keep working to persuade his colleagues. Sen. Clark has again introduced his bill, now known as SB 11, for the 2013 legislative session. Sen. Clark introduced similar legislation, SB 129, in 2012. Although SB 129 never received a hearing and did not pass, it did receive plenty of media coverage, bringing the debate over medical marijuana front and center in the Bluegrass State.
Please ask your elected officials to support allowing medical marijuana for seriously ill Kentuckians. Also, if you or a loved one suffer from a debilitating illness and could benefit from marijuana, or if you’re a medical professional, a law enforcement official, a clergy member, or a member of the legal community, please email email@example.com to see how you can be of special help. Please include your address or nine-digit ZIP code.
