Contradicting, don't you think? These states love America and everything it stands for. That's why they've created the petitions, for your liberty.

The goverment may not be the best but it works. What happens if you lose your job and can not make ends meat? What happens then? I don't think that any of you have thought this through. You starve that is what happens! You cannot seperate yourself from goverment and still scream for help when and if you may need. Wake up people, you are so afraid of what is happening in the world that you want to start a war in your own backyard.

No, it use to work, now it just sits around and waits for its check to in.

"When you lose your job"? Look around folks are already losing their jobs and can't make ends meet.

The fact is I, along with most other americans don't need or want the governments help. The problem isn't in the rest of the world, it's in own backyard.

Electorial vote....emminent domain..jobs in Mexico and China. Big taxes...crooked bankers, crooked and whoremongering politicians....why not just get it over with and build the castle and offer us all refuge when the barbarians come?

I like how when you actually look at the signatures half of them are from people who don't even live in e state the petition is for.

Should rename these petitions, "list of sore loser republitards"

I think the present government leaves a lot to be desired, and ppl ARE losing jobs, but there are at least programs you can go to for assistance like food stamps and unemployment. As long as there are these programs, nobody will starve! Ppl may have to cut back more than they're used to, but at least it's not like some other nations with nothing. And it's really amazing that as soon as things get bad, ppl start talking about secession and starting their own government. If you do that, you WILL be totally on your on and there wont be any help. You say you don't need anything from the government, but that's just because you haven't SEEN how bad it can get. What happened to Americans rallying around and trying to make things better? Instead of starting a war. What about the ppl who founded this country? Do you think they started whining and said "if things don't go perfect, we'll just get petitions together and fight somebody"? They all tried to work together and do things to make it better, not blame everybody in power. Ppl can change things and make a difference, but they have to DO something, not just sit around complaining. There ARE things you can do to make your government sit up and take notice. Remember the Boston tea party? But when you start forming a lot of little independent groups the only ones to survive are the ones with the most money or gun power.

Kentucky has a lot more democrats than you'd think it does, they just don't usually for a democratic president, especially if he or she doesn't support coal like it is all we have to survive on.

Coal is going to run out some day. Face it. I dont think we should stop mining but I think we should regulate it. You got to develop a backup plan. You coal miners need to figure out something else you can do just in case you lose your job. Making 100,000 a year may not be the case any more. Some of you may wish you'd paid more attention in class when you were in school. Remember those days when you said fuck school, Im gonna be a miner. Well, that shit may come back to haunt some of you. Hope it dont though but it may.

Please, majority of the states on this petition couldn't survive without the Federal government. It would be a matter of months before most of these states are reduced to a thirdworld cesspool.

Third world cesspool...oh, you mean like people sleeping over manholes...alleys you can't go past in the dark OR day? How about area's of cities where gangs control the streets? Yeah...the little towns around here will just go into the pit.
