4. They are talking about how they are such a great employer for this area and how they are hiring so many people. They are hiring 100 a month but you have to think of it this way anywhere from 150-190 people quit that month isn't there some reason so many people are leaving this 'good' company.

We put over a million dollars a month in the economy of the areas we hire from, could you imagine how bad things would be without that money? I know where I would be, I would be nailing my doors shut and moving because I couldnít afford to live on what other companies pay. Do you know why Wal-Mart pays over 8.00 and hour now, do you know why Lowes Pays so well, Do you know why Rent-A-Center pay 9.00 and hour starting out? They pay so much because of the labor competition Sykes bring to the table. How many of you reading this or writing this slander about our company worked for 5.25 an hour at all the above mentioned jobs prior to Sykes coming in. I donít want to hear any shit lies saying those companies already paid that much because I have family who worked there and left for higher pay when Sykes opened. If anything we owe them for what they have brought and given us here. We have a wonderful little part of the world here and I continue to see people prosper. Daily I see people we hired months to years ago come in and they are well dressed and drive nice vehicles. Guess what, these are some of the same people that had to wear the same outfit 2 or 3 times a week to work because that is all they had and these are the same people who had to hitch a ride to work with someone else because they didnít have their own car. People, stress comes with any job. Deal with it, work for what you have and stop moaning, groaning, bitching, and complaining about everything. Get a life and keep your nose out of everyone elseís business.
Line 'em out there general.

In the real world, paychecks and respect are usually best earned-by honest hard WORK.

i'm really needing a job, considering i'm 17 and have a infant daughter. Almost every wheres i go you have to be 18 or there full, It's not like i don't want to work because i'd love to have a job but it's nearly impossible, for the area i live in. And to get right down to the point, Do i have to be 18 to work at sykes, i have my GED and i can type a little faster than the average person, and i'm also pretty good with computer's. Also I can pass a drug test. Please get back to me on this, Thanks.

Good hard situation - yes, you do have to be at least 18. Just wondering, will you be 18 any time soon? I don't see the harm in applying and they may even call you up once you're of age.
