What is the Truth

Does anyone really know what they paid John Paul Amis to retire? If this board paid him $12,000 per month, that ain't retirement, that is getting paid without showing up. I know that is better than if he did show up, but seriously $12,000 per month? I hope that ain't true. If it is the board needs to be voted out.
This money ain't growing on trees, they are raising our taxes to get it. The board needs to disclose what they paid him. I know most are just glad he's gone, but if he is getting anythng more than his regular state pension, well I am glad these clowns on the board are so generious with OUR MONEY.
The board needs to come out with the facts and if they don't they need to be voted out.

The board didn't give him anything, his retirement will be somewhere around 10,000.

A teacher's retirement is based on the average of the 5 highest paid years. Think of what JPA's salary has been for the last 5 years......this 10,000 to 12,0000 that everyone is talking about is his monthly retirement. Do the math and don't turn everything into some sort of scandal.

I think that he is a very good man. I don't believe the negative things that I hear about him.

i find it very disturbing that a board member would nominate him for an award for having the bottom 3rd system in the state! was this person looking for some kind of favor in return? who could be so foolish? is this the kind of person we want on a school board?
