What happened at their clinic? They are totally legit. You absolutely have to have everything required to get an appointment. Is the DEA trying to close all pain clinics. Believe it or not people really do have severe pain from different illnesses and injuries. I like all the people there, respect them and they will respect you.
Yes, thats exactly what our esteemed governor, Unite and all the rest are doing. Trying to intimidate everyone. I know exactly what they're doing. They got rid of any doctors that were prescribing pain meds, So now they have no one left to threaten and harrass but the pain clinics, even tho the clinics are doing everything right and also the physicians were that they run off. Now all the people around here will be bitching and moaning that they have to be seen by Indians and every other doctor that wanders in here cause they can't get hired anywhere else! People with their closed, accusing minds never could understand that doctors are trained and swear that they will treat people to the best of their ability, for pain along with everything else. And we, the people have a right to be treated for chronic pain! Go to Ky Medical Boards website and type in "Patients Bill of Right to be treated for pain". The are taking our rights away from is! All because of addicts! Its just not right! Closing down doctors offices all across the state that are going by their new ruls, the HB1 Bill. You can also read that of the medical boards site. They all taking it thtoo far. I don't hear them accusing the addicts! Why not punish their asses? They are the guilty ones!! And if they close every doctor and clinic down, the addicts will still go on getting their fixes! It's got to the point that if a person needs treated for their chronic pain, then they're immediately a druggie or is selling their meds! MAKES ME WANT TO PUKE!

They are not investigating Clarion, it is out of business. They thought Ace Chaney owned part of this clinic which isn't true either.

You know what you're talking about!!!! I personally think docs should be sued for malpractice if thet do not treat a patient with a legitimate need!!!!! Maybe patients need to get together for a huge class action settlement!!!!!something must be done. It is wrong wrong wrong to deny people with pain any treatment. Your governor did this folks.

Just so you know, Clarion DID NOT GET SHUTDOWN! It was sold because the costs to operate where about to become more than they could possibly take in. HB1 added tons of new regulations that forced several clinics to close or sell out.

I was a patient of Dr. Prater, when he went to rehab, we were left high and dry, I had an opportunity to go to a pain clinic but turned it down. So many doctors do the right thing for a while but then they get in as deep as their patients. These doctors who write pain meds and get their patients on medicine and test them to make sure the levels are correct should not be allowed to stop a patient cold turkey. What do you think the legitimate patients of these doctors are going through. I am not talking about the pill sellers and swappers I am talking legitimate people with legitimate problems. I have had 3 back surgerys have many many problems and I take the least I can stand. Am in in pain, you are dang right, but I will not take the stuff they throw at you and then you have to die coming off of on your own. There has to be something that can be done to help people who do the right thing and are overprescribed and not cared about when the doctors go down. Think of the people who are out there with no meds and no doctor now since they have closed these doctors down. If you have never been there then you have no clue how bad it can get, I went down to half my prescription when Dr. Prater took the easy way out, we can not get a fancy smancy rehab center, so we all have to suffer. I have tried to be smart and take the lowest dose possible for my pain, but now I am on half that, life is not very good, and until you walk a mile in my shows don't lump me in with all the dope heads, am I addicted, yes I am, you don't take meds for 20 years without being, but what happens when your doctor is gone, you live without, you suffer and you live with it. No one cares about the patients who do everything they are supposed to do and still get stuck in the middle of these situations. You trust your doctor to do the best for you but you better take care of yourself too, because doctors today, don't care and the government don't care either.

I think they really do a great job. They drug test everybody and when you go there you see a doctor or a nurse practitioner. I know they check people because that man that checks people caught two people while I was there and kicked them out. Someone told me that he kicked one after I left and called the police on another man that had been drinking and caught some the day before. Sounds like they run a tight ship. They won't see you until your appointment time and you can't hang in parking lot. What else can you do. I work everyday and have to have my meds to be able to do that if not I could not work and support my family. Also I feel safe at this clinic because of that man that's always there and he is always moving around. Bless Dr Winsor for having him at the clinic.

Ace has nothing to do with the Ky Pain Clinic! There are three Ky Pain Clinics in eastern ky in different counties. They shut another one down the next day. He isn't part owner and doesn't have anything to do with it! And both places were raided at the same time and the Feds weren't letting anyone in or out of either place, so how could Bob or anybody else come running to warn anybody? Your tales just get bigger and bigger! The day this all happened, ppl started saying Ace was in jail and he'd been working with a drug cartel and they'd found all kinds of evidence and blah, blah, blah, and this crap talk went on for two days , how he was gonna be broke and the clinic was closed for good. Well, he's been seeing patients since Wednesday! And he's even open today and tomorrow. Because he CARES about his patients and didnt wanna leave any of them hanging. There isn't too many drs that'll stay open on Sunday, no matter what! So say what you will, but he cares about his patients.

hate to break it to ya, since you think you know so much, but Ace has been open and seeing patients since Wednesday. And will be open today and tomorrow. So, apparently they have nothing on him, once again. They do these little raids once every couple years, trying to catch him up in something, but he runs his clinic the way it's supposed to be run and he's doing nothing wrong. And to all you idiots saying they took all his money and cars and everything else, you are so wrong! His nice big Hummer was parked right in front of the clinic. So if they took things, I'm guessing that 40, 000 dollar car would've been one of the first things. This might teach people to stop listening to stupid gossip! And btw, Ace nor any other dr is responsible for the drug problem. A dr prescribes meds to people who have problems. He has a certain amount that you're supposed to take written on the bottle. If you take more than he's prescribed, that's not HIS problem! Doctors can't follow patients around and make sure they take them correctly. And people who overdose obviously take more than prescribed. Instead of spending so much on trying to harass and close down legit doctors, the state and county and even federal government should use some of those resources to open up rehab facilities for addicted people. Ones they can actually afford!

Are you serious? This is the FBI! They knew Ace didn't have anything to do with the ky pain clinic a long time ago! They've been watching him for years! And yes, Clarion is out of business, but that doesn't mean they aren't still investigating what was going on there when they WERE in business. The Feds don't just show up and say "geez I thought you owned part of this clinic. Sorry". They find out about this stuff before they ever get here. Oh and to whoever mentioned Kings Pharmacy, Ace doesn't own that, or isn't part owner either.

FINALLY, someone with some sense! Doctors are NOT to blame, just like you said. I get so sick I want to puke when people tries to blame being an addict on their doctor! People, take your meds as directed and you won't get hooked. Don't abuse it. Damn fool addicts, do the doctors hold you down and inject the shit into you? NO! Do they force you to take more than you should? NO they do not! Addicts are always blaming someone else, blame yourselves! The people hurt are the legitimate people in pain who are left high and dry when unite and state police come in and shut a clinic down. They tie the doctors hands to where they can't help you come off it. I still say the only reason they are trying to find something on the doctors is because they want to grab as many as they can of the doctors possessions for themselves! Nothing but a bunch of crooks is what our so called law is around here. They couldn't care less how many people overdose! They just want what they can get in these raids. They didn't get Ace nor the Ky Pain Clinics! They were trying to find something they did wrong and couldn't, so they had to tuck their little heads between their legs and go home. Assholes, is all they are.
