may be hard to get.. Your emplloyer will put down the reason.. And if you are denied you can go for a hearing..you would have to have a good reason for being fired.. Sickness, death in family etc.. Depend really on the reason..

This is not true just another speculation and to answer the original question, yes you can get fs if you are fired, it is an income based program, if you quit a job there is some stipulations, but not if you are fired.

I don't have to read it, I work for the cabinet and nothing of the sort has been approved by the department as of this day and has not even as much as been considered, you know you can't belive everything you read, especially during an election year! And while we are showing our maturity by calling names I think you ment neanderthals which in definition means an extinct human species and though I am rare and some would say one of a kind I am definatly not extinct and know many caring people in this world. You all have a good day!

I know I've been on them since 2008 when I lost my job hauling. Not everyone that is on welfare is a bum. I have looked for other jobs, in the past 4 years I've had 3 job offers, none in which that would pay me what I was making driving a dump truck. I can honestly make more on welfare and food stamps than I can taking one of those job offers.. neither job offered over 8 dollars an hour.

ok I agree to a point but I have a daughter who was put in the hospital for days not hours and do to the companies point out system she lost her job and her laying in the hospital and cant get help and has 3 babies to feed and because the point out is like quitting they said she couldnt and cant get no help at all for her and her children. My children never was raised on foodstamps we have worked all our lives but in times like these is when a family needs the help till they can get another job so sometime you stick your foot in your mouth when you dont know the story of some people and there families.

That's a pretty asinine thing to say to a broad spectrum of people. I happen to have worked every day of my life since I was 16 yrs old and I am 41 now and just got fired for a bogus reason because I was on intermittent family medical leave so they couldn't fire me for that and I have paid plenty of taxes and won't be on any of this stuff for more than a couple months before I am working again, I put in 10+ resumes every day and have no intention of staying on any of this but what I am going through is the reason it's there, not for people to live off of for years
