I don't think there is a gay church in Hazard. If there is, I've never heard of it, and I've lived here all my life.

up past the vocational school Donnie Enface. Not the first church over the hill, but the brown brick one way up in there. He is married but is in the 'down low' with a pastor from Ohio that was from Billy Joe Lewis church. Not sure he would be friendly though since he may be trying to hide this about him from his members.

Oh, you mean the part of Leviticus where it is an abomination to eat pork, lobster and shrimp. NO. I think they really beleive Leviticus does not apply today, You know, most Christians eat these things. And they don't think is wrong to wear clothes of different fabric, and they don't hold to the belief in Leviticus that preachers cannot be blind and that midgets cannot go to church. I think they believe it is alright for people who are 'born out of wedlock (bastard) to still attend church. I know Leviticus is against these things, but again, i think this church is not opposed to eating pork, or allowing bastards to go to church. I think once a person reads the Book of Leviticus, it would be easy to understand why the church don't think it is wrong to eat these things. Of course one needs to read the entire book and not just pick a verse here and there to really understand it.I hope this help.

Well, you see here...I am the kind of person that does study and view the entirety of the scripture and I don't pick out a peice here and there to suit my needs. With intense study you would understand your statements are without understanding. Too many people spend their entire lives sitting in the pews and have such a small understanding of the scripture that an educated student would be startled.

If you would take the time to study the list of animals that are prohibited you would notice that they are all scavengers. Even a child would notice this if you gave them the list and asked them what kind of animals they were. Why do you think we are not to eat scavengers? Because their purpose is to clean up the decay, disease, and poisons left in dead flesh. For example:Anyone that knows anything about pork knows that they do not have sweat glands. They eat anything and everything they can get at. before they were raised in industrial farms they ate dead animals and whatever they could put in their mouths. They can't sweat out toxins so they deposit these poisons in their fat. When you eat pork you are eating what they ate. Look at what shellfish consume. I live on the coast so I know what is inside their bodies. You can deny the food prohibitions but consumption of those scavengers leads to you having your body filled with things that are not to be consumed. It is your choice and it is a sin against your flesh...which is a sin towards God and his commands. We all have free will and a day of judgement. We all sin and must answer for it. It is your choice! And if you think Peter made an argument against the food prohibitions you had better read it again very carefully in the Context of the analogy of Cornelius.
