Folks if you're wanting to buy a mobile home, DON'T BUY FROM EDGEWOOD IN HAZARD, if you do you'll get screwed, you've been warned so don't get mad if you buy from them and get fracked. And if you have already bought from them, good-luck with customer service.

I have never done business with a company or anyone as far as that goes, who will lie at any cost to make a deal. STAY AWAY FROM BUCK, I don't think he knows how to tell the truth.

we purchased a home from there in november 2007 and buck was the one that sold us our home he tried to screw us over in the first place trying to charge us taxes on the septic system and we were going to do have it done ourselves then after that we wanted dark clay vinyl siding and we ended up with tan because he had us sign a paper saying that clay is what we wanted and when they got our home it was tan and by then everything had been signed at the bank then we wanted a flat top stove because the house did not have one well we got one but there is a big gap on each side, the master bathroom garden tub had a big crack in it,the main beam that seams the house togather was falling down ,the front door would not shut when you would close it there was a big gap at the top, my carpet had a hole in it , the vinyl had a big bubble right in the middle , the cabinet doors were scratched and cracked and there was so much wrong when we got it and they had some guy come out 6 months later to fix it and when i began telling him all that was wrong he said lady you cant be that pick and i went off on him i said yes i can because i just went in debt for this and i am the one making the payment and there is still stuff that we could never get them to come out and fix .... and also the day we went to the bank to sign the paper on the loan the lady from edgewood was there before we ever got done signing them to pick up the check now how bad is that ?? NEVER SHOP EDGEWOOD .. AND WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT DEAL WITH BUCK BECAUSE HE WILL TRY HIS BEST TO RIP YOU OFF AND HE WILL LIE TO YOU ALL AT THE SAME TIME

I agree that Edgewood is the worst place to buy a home from! We got a home from them a few years back and it has been nothing but trouble and problems from day 1. They will lie to you and tell you what they think you want to hear and then once you get the home, you are screwed royally because they don't want to know your name. There are too many other places to buy homes. Go to them and get one but if you are smart you will stay away from Edgewood.

I have bought 2 homes from Edgewood Homes in Hazard and was treated fairly and with much respect. The first home i bought i dealt with a gentleman from Leslie Co. the second home i purchased i dealt with Buck Gross. I found him to be honest, straight forward and extremly helpful. when i get ready to buy my next home that's where i'll shop and who i'll deal with

If you want the best home and the best deal in Hazard Edgewood is the best place to buy. I bought a home there 2 years ago and i've had absolutely no problems at all.

Satisfied Customer, you said you have bought 2 homes there and that your next one will come from there..........I find it hard to believe that you would need a third home, we are talking about homes not cars and trucks. Also, if you found Buck to be as you said, there must be 2 of them that work there, LOL.

Kysweetheart has told it correctly, they have screwed us over too. Whatever you do, make sure that it's all in writing, and is clear to you before you sign anything, and if they say don't worry about it because that is STANDARD equipment and comes on the model you are looking at, THEN BEGIN TO WORRY, GET IT ALL IN WRITING, make sure when the home is delivered on their lot and they have you walk through it, that it has everything as promised, and don't sign anything until it is complete, look real close at the trim work gaps etc.

Merry Christmas to all !!!!!

When I wanted to purchase a mobile home I went there first and they told me I was approved. I packed all my belongs up in my old mobile home and then they called me back and told me I had been denied! How wrong was that? It really worked out better in the long run because I got the same trailer cheaper at Crossland Mobile Homes in London

I don't want to say anything to hurt anyone, however, I too must warn you, if you are looking to buy a home there: DON'T, GO ELSEWHERE.

They are the Madoff of Hazard.

Bob and Buck play that GOOD OL BOY bit the best I've seen it played. They use it to win over your trust then stab you in the back as soon as your check as cleared. Stay clear of them, they are as smooth as they come, like all con-men.

I'm having issues from buck. He's in London now. I recently bought a home there and I'm thinking about suing them. My attorney has never lost and said he will clean their clocks. Get ready ole boys. I'm gonna take yuns to school.

It's a trailer and unfortunately no matter how much you spend it will still be a trailer. I live in one but have found issues upon issues. Cheap materials, cheaply made construction, expensive to fix. Cosmetically it looks awesome, but I need to feel safe.
