I have no sympathy for someone who has stolen money from so many people no matter what position or status he might have held in the community. At least he won't be able to do that to anyone else.
He's where he should be, behind bars; the pillar of Santa Rita jail. I've so many people say how giving and generous he was; well, that's easy to do with money that was not his. What a good cover he had with all his stories, jokes, and laughs. Now look who gets the last laugh. The only ones we should feel sorry for are those who lost money by trusting in the man; may he rot in his 8 by 8 cell.

I believe that Weldon tried his best to invest their money in Real Estate, as he promised.... Has anyone noticed what happened to the Real Estate Market over the past couple of years? Weldon lost his own money along with everyone else... Not by drinking it, gambling it away or stealing it... It's not sitting in some off-shore account.. It's just gone - Watch the news people... He's an Accountant, not a magician - don't convict him until you hear all sides. As far as I'm concerned.... he's a victim too - of the current economy - Everyone handed him their money - he didn't rob anyone. He did the best he could do with it and it didn't work out... He's been accused, not convicted and I. for one, stand behind him. I will believe in him until a jury of his peers convince me otherwise - I've know him far too long and far too well to think anything other than that...

Weldon was paid money from me during this period to fight an IRS audit finding.
In two years time he called the IRS once and never did anything else on my behalf. Now my problems are much worse. His reply of 'these things take time' or 'I have a meeting , I'll get back to you next week' were just screens to keep me paying while he did nothing. Weldon did more wrongs than what has been reported so far.

I used Weldon for years to due my personal taxes, he did a great job up until I started my own business in 2002! His service and his attitude changed, He got extremly cocky and I changed firms about 4 years ago. He is NO piler of a community, hes a thief and thankfully one that got caught!

Enjoy you stay in Plesanton! As for the "unbelivable" comment above.....open you eyes!!

Unbelievable...his attorney read a statement saying he was guilty of this and takes full responsibility for his actions. Also if you review bank statements, which i'm sure you don't have access to, there is no doubt that he did nothing but put it into one account and spend it willie nilly on his own enrichment.
additionally he could have been put in front of a jury of his peers if he wanted to, but instead he copped a plea and took responsibility for his actions, knowing that he would have been convicted at trial and hoping for a lighter sentence.

Wow Linda, you have lots of hatred in your heart and soul. Its interesting that you don't even know this man but yet you are wishing that he rots in a cell. Where is your love gone? How did you become so heartless? Why would you wish this on anyone? Where is your LOVE?
I heard that several people whom he never knew came to seem him while he was at Santa Rita Jail, to visit him where you one of those people? You should seek help from somewhere before you lose the rest of your soul. Life is too short to waste it on him.

Wow, LOVE - you are a bleeding heart simpleton. People like you that refuse to hold anyone responsible for their actions is EXACTLY what our community and country DOESN'T frickin need.
Linda is right on...
