Hayward Fire Disrupts BART Service

Bay Area Rapid Transit officials say at least two electrical fires at a Hayward substation have disrupted BART service in the East Bay.

The first fire broke out around 4:30 a.m Saturday and forced the closure of the Hayward, South Hayward, Union City and Fremont BART stations.

Another fire broke out again at the same substation shortly before noon and caused another substation to catch fire.

BART has been providing bus service between the stations where service has been disrupted. Read more

1. Look for a licensed electrician, to fix it.
2. Look for signs of vandalism.
3. Clearly put on the box,'Electricution Hazard.;
4. Was it bugs, dirts or birds? Needs to be checked every month or 2 months. Dirt lowers TV and radio transmission signals always did.
