I am not sure but I believe the young man that was killed in the car crash was named Leo (Josue). My daughter called very upset and crying that her friend was killed in a automobile accident in Hayward. I feel so sad for the family because he was just begining his young life and it was cut too short for what? I certainly hope who ever reads this, PLEASE DO NOT GET IN A CAR WHEN THE DRIVER IS UNDER THE INFLUENCE. Instead take their keys away.

The young, tall, and handsome man that passed away was (is) my little brother Josue Leopoldo Zendejas who was also known by our family as Leo. He didn't deserve this, but it brings peace to our hearts to know that he didn't suffer, and is now with God where he is watching over us. My brother was a long time resident at South City and attended South San Francisco High School.We recently moved to Hayward where he attended Hayward High School. I too want to emphasize the importance of NOT drinking and driving...it's not worth it. I did not know Joshue, but I heard alot about him from my Fiance's sister, they were schooling together, and from what she told me about him, we gave him a nick name (The Perfect Guy), which really suited his personality, I don't why but once I heard the news tears came to my eyes I felt like I knew him myself.I just want to give my Condolences to the family. He will truly be missed by friends and family.

it was so shocking to hear about josue leaving us.i attended school with him at south city high and he was going to come out in my cousins 15nera on august but none of us ever came out.its wiered how one day everything can be all good and the next everything seems like if it all just fell.Even though hes not here we all know hes smiling down at us and watching over us.To the Zendejas family just know that hes there with you day and night.I cant belive another young man i knew past on.Just like ARTURO ROMERO dat past away in hayward too by hayward high.Its just sad how things happen.Rip Josue Z and Arturo R.(my 2 angels)

first off, i would like to give my condolences to the Zendejas family. i`m one of josue`s friend. i went to school with him back at parkway heights and we became really close. he was and will always be a cool and laid back guy. knowing he passed away the night before my birthday really hurt me, but i just thought of it as the greatest birthday present because i got an angel watchin` over me. the last time he said wat`s up to me was on january 4, 2007 and i regret for not replyin` back. josue was a friend of mine at south city high and i remember him making me laugh so hard in the back of ms davis class. we always flipping all the kids backpacks and letting out loud ass farts lol. him always making me laugh is something that i will always remember and cherish. I used to be mad at him beacause he would always get the girls i liked. yet u cant be mad at a guy like that. josue was the first friend i had at south city even though he was popular, he was always kind to me. Wow.Im so so sorry to the Zendejas family fist off, and I know Josue is in a better place now. I only met him once at my brothers birthday party, but we talked and danced, and he was very sweet. It was heartbreaking to hear that some drunk driver had to take his life like that. But If it is what God intended then I guess we have to let it be, even though He will be missed greatly. Rest in peace Josue.You are loved

I'm not sure how I stumbled on to this, but I knew Josue. He was one of my "students" at Families On Track at Parkway and he worked for me at the Boys & Girls Club. He was such a sweet kid.. a true gentleman. I thought that I'd be doing a little better by now, however, as each day goes by I find myself thinking of him more. I wish I had enjoyed him more while he was here. Josue was so quiet, that sometimes I didn't converse with him at work. I cared deeply for Josue, but I just wish he knew that.
