Don't let him hurt you more than you've already been hurt. If you do then he wins again. I know that all employees are down and hurting but if you don't get a positive attitude and think that the past is past and now brighter things are waiting for me then the jerk wins again. I don't know about karma or even understand the concept. I do know about good people doing the best that they can. My folks were good people, worked hard and did the best that they could. No million dollar house, airplane, new car every year but had love and respect of friends and relatives that probably numbered in the hundreds. THEY WON. Guys like Haynes that aren't respected, liked or most importantly trusted, loose. No matter how many toys they have accumulated. I would much rather live in 1200 sq. ft. starter home (that is what we lived in for 35 years) and know that my neighbor really cares about me and my family than have all the big boy toys. Most of the hospital employees that I got to know seemed like they had pretty much the same attitude. Some time bad things happen to good people. Most of the time good things happen to good people. Be positive, learn to smile at work again and things will work out again.

I remember when a job at the hospital was considered one of the best breaks a person could hope for. It can be again if you'll just hang tough for a while. Good luck and remember God has been watching and he doesn't forget. Haynes will get his and I hope that the hard working everyday person gets theirs.

Maybe you and Haynes can go fishing together since you are most likely his "only" friend. So beware, as he will "screw you over" just like he has done to everyone else.
