I think that if any of you so called concerned people out there had the guts to post your real name by these posts then maybe if there are issues with the way things are going at the ball park then it might could be worked out. You notice TM didn't hide behind a fake name when she posted a reply. Yes she is my daughter and I am very proud of her and Josh for everything and every hour that they dedicate to those kids. You don't hear the kids bad mouthing them, most of them want to be on their team.

Apparently you all are big talk behind a computer screen but I have been to ever game since this topic come up and have not seen one person confront TM or her hubby or anyone else you have a problem with at that. So if u have problems grow some balls and go talk to them at the game. I can guarantee she won't back down from anyone. But I'm sure it won't happen since there is just a bunch of chicken shits on here. I have not seen any of the coaches do anything wrong out there but help there kids. Now the umpire is a different story. Seemed he was a little scared or getting paid by an out of town team last Friday !

yes! there are several productive people (people with jobs)leaving steele because of the extreme backwardness and ignorance that runs rampant in this town. When the steele upper crust realizes that all they have now are crack and meth heads, they will (in amazement) throw their arms in the air (looking around left to right) and yell, "what happened to this town?". DAH!!
guess what

You are way behind! The upper crust realized a long time ago that all we have left in this town are drug addicts and welfare cheats. The upper crust threw their hands up a long time ago and they too are leaving when they can. Some can't leave yet because of their work or an elderly family member but it won't be too many years that Steele will look like Holland.

Oh and so you think this doesn't happen in other towns? LOL well it does. Steele is not the only place where there are people that get in there and do whatever so those that don't want to can set around and grip about it. So if you leave the next place you go will be the same, and the next and next.

To the Carlile's or however you spell your name all I can say is what goes around comes around. Ever wonder why you got fired from being a coach at south Pem? Because of who you are and I hope you don't get hired at senath either as a matter of fact I know a few board members guess they need to be enlightened on what kind of people you are. It will be my pleasure. Being mean to a ten year old boy won't look good will it? in front of a lot of people just like you did in the locker room! Lol now go ahead and post something stupid on here so I can forward it to the senath school board members. And your stupid wife looked real stupid as she fell down those bleachers!

I don't think the ball field, in the middle of a game is an appropriate place to have a discussion about coaching techniques or opinions. However, I would like the opportunity to attend a SYL meeting. If these meetings were made public then maybe something could get done before all the parents take their children elsewhere.

Don't get your panties in a wad. It is not that people are complaining but rather they would like to be informed of things that will take place such as out of town games before they pay for the child to play ball. No matter what it cost to prepare the field or the electricity for the lights there are many people in Steele who can not afford to pay any amount for their children to play ball. That is not a criticism of the LL but that is a major reason we don't have that many kids playing ball at Steele any longer.
Some of the kids from Steele are playing ball in Blytheville now because they think it is better organized, better fields, and they don't like the way Steele's LL was conducted, etc. Steele is rapidly losing their working population, those who can afford to pay for things. That is just a reality. So my suggestion would be to let people express their opinions on here and YOU don't whine about it!
So you are saying people don't have the money for what it cost to play in Steele but with the cost of gas they can drive to Blytheville for their kids to play? Wow that doesn't make much sense to me.

I think that people who can afford for their children to play LL ball will travel to another city in order for their children to play in a better environment and have more people who make decisions instead a select few who have children playing and favor their own children and their children's friends over the other players. I think that Steele has a very high rate of poverty and most of the children can not afford to pay the fees and buy the necessary equipment and clothing to play LL ball anywhere. That will basically eliminate LL in Steele in the very near future. Then when that happens, the ones who were making decisions here will no longer be in control of the games and will be like the children who were not favored in Steele. They will get a taste of what it is like to be on the low end of the totem pole.

Oh it will be back in full force bigger and better next year minus Hayti s poor sportsman team . And the coaches will still be the same as this year... Attended about every game played and never seen anything done wrong . All coaches voiced there concern when it needed to be concerned and ask questions when need be. Kids had fun and learned alot, seen a huge improvement from the first to the end of the year ! Keep up the great work coaches and ignore these people that don't know there ass from a whole in the ground and won't come talk this crap to your face.

I see things never change. I am 60 yrs old and had kids to play 35yrs ago and the same complaints were going on back then, the coaches were at fault, the haves were at fault, there was someone always at fault that "my" kid didn't become the star. I heard it all back then and see it is still going on today. LOL Guess what? My kids only remember having fun and none of them were ruined for life for not being the star.
