If u have that big of a problem with them then be man enough to face them and tell it to there face instead of online. They are out there almost every night so they aren't hard to find. I'm sure they wouldn't mind at all! But of course it's so much easier to do it this way and then kiss there ass at the ball games like ur there best friend.

I will gladly coach ball anytime. I haven't seen a good coach in three years. You should all be ashamed. If you're up for the challenge try me out.

I assume you are putting yourself in the good coach catagory. The season is almost over now. Why didn't you offer your awesome coaching skills earlier.

I'll take my kids to Blytheville next year so they actually LEARN to play baseball, not just hit and steal. What a waste of everyone's time and money.

They teach them how to manipulate umps and gripe. Be from another town and come play softball, it's painful. When your little coach makes it to real tournaments that she don't control the rules she'll be tossed in the first inning. Which would probably help her team her excuses and gripes are a distraction. Needs to buy an ASA rule book and read it during games it would keep her occupied and she might learn she doesn't know half what she thinks.

Blytheville is a good idea you're kid's will learn needed baseball skills. But I'm not ready to give up on our town probably never will.I don't think they(the kids) should settle for half hearted coaching. COACH you are to be They're leader and provide proper techniques so that the children placed under your guide will demonstrate the skills they have been taught.

OMG you all were on here 2 weeks ago about the schools and coaches and now its LL. If you don't like it then get off your butts and go volunteer to coach a team. If you don't like the way it is run then go get on the board or whatever they have. It is so easy for all of you to set at home and whine and complain when someone else except yourself is doing for your kids. What? do all of you think the up keep of the field and the lights are free all summer?? Everything is going up. If you don't like it or it costs to much get out in the yard and play ball with your own kids, take them to the park or ride a bike with them. Your kids would rather you give them attention than someone else.
Dont matter if u volunteer or coach, the "board" runs it their way, and changes the rules as they go to fit themselves and their chosen teams, in other words the teams they coach!! Board members should'nt be allowed to coach!! Its bad that folks up there enact their short comings on thr kids!!

I do not run things on the softball field for the SYL. I do however know a lot about the sport and coach the high school team so I am asked what would help improve our high school program. If you knew anything about how it is ran, when I am on the field as a coach I take myself out of the board position and do not make decisions that would effect either team either way. Every coach in the softball league has been told that we are coaches at that time and if they have a question about rules or calls or complaints to address another board member because of people like you saying that its done for us. Please go ahead and tell me how it is ran for us? We have a child out there just like the other parents out there. The whole point is to help the kids learn. But there are rules that have to be followed or the kids are learning nothing. If I'm not following these rules then call me out on it. I have two games today feel free to come out and tell me how I am working things for my "benefit." I do not make the decisions for the league the board votes on them. I am involved and out there. I volunteer my time, do you?? When the board makes decisions they keep ALL children in mind, despite what you all think. There have been changes this year but it was for the betterment of the children. If you knew anything about me you would know that I cheer for every child out there whether they are on my team or not and whether they are playing against me or not. I am out there almost every night of the week and will be out there today. If you despise me feel free to come and talk to me about this. I'm not hiding you can find me to address me instead of hiding behind a fake name on topix.

I think the Steele people that volunteer do so only because they have kids playing and they want to give them an advantage over the other kids. I don't see them helping any of the kids except their own and they definately don't try to teach them anything. I don't think that they realize that it is so obvious what they are doing.

YOu people are something else. If you don't like the way it is, get off your butts and coach. People that don't do always have something to say about those that do. Id almost be none of you would coach because it would take up to much of your time.

That's where your wrong, you can't coach. Sign-up they won't let you. They are the same crappy coaches every year. They should do it as a lottery, but then TM or someone might not get to rule I mean coach.

Apparently you all are big talk behind a computer screen but I have been to ever game since this topic come up and have not seen one person confront TM or her hubby or anyone else you have a problem with at that. So if u have problems grow some balls and go talk to them at the game. I can guarantee she won't back down from anyone. But I'm sure it won't happen since there is just a bunch of chicken shits on here. I have not seen any of the coaches do anything wrong out there but help there kids. Now the umpire is a different story. Seemed he was a little scared or getting paid by an out of town team last Friday !

I don't think anyone is afraid of TM. There are plenty of people who won't back down either. I think people know that it does no good to talk to her so why try? They have finally decided that the best thing to do for their children is to take them to another town to play ball where they think the officials are more fair and there are more than one or two people calling all the shots.
