Does anyone know if he works at the Hayti Hospital? I think there is a Lawerence Newman that works out there. If so does he handle their money and what does the Hospital Board think of all the trouble he has going in the Heights? Just wondering.

He drives a hospital van for patients, but it is always in the Heights. I don't think he handles money thank goodness, but that PMHS van is always hanging in the Heights, just your tax dollars at work.....I guess...but the Board probably does not care about that..you could call Kerry Noble and ask him if Newman only works part time or what, but I know he is hanging over there a lot

No, he does not handle money at the hospital. He drives the van around and gives free rides to people that don't have a way to their doctor. He is a very nice man. I don't know what he did or didn't do, and I choose not to judge him. That's God's job and I'm not qualified. Neither are you.

Why do we rely upon God to settle man-made problems? Duh! Weren't we given a brain to use?

got to agree with you, we need to at least obey the law, something he does not seem to be too good at doing...he should probably step down so the city can recover

Who do you think made the man? Duh!! We need to rely on God first to solve all our problems. When you can truly let go and let Him handle things you'll find a peace like you've never known. You'll also realize little issues such as this don't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

So you're saying an unlawful individual should not have to answer to the laws of man? I believe you should worry about the satan side of man. God is to judge us when we die, man is to judge man while on earth. If it were your way, a rapist or murderer or embezzler or thief could have free will ,until God found a way to dispose of him. I surely do not believe you meant what you said.

I gotta agree with you, God expects us to police our own to some degree and this man is out of control.....if Hayti Heights wants to survive, we need him gone....and by the way it is your and my dollar that lets him take the hospital van to the the city hall every day and hang out there more than work......and he should turn over the records if he has nothing to hide..right? I have to pay my water bill there every month and those two ladies are rude..and where does my sewer money go? Not to pay Hayti I guess....can they cut us off?

No, I did not mean that the way you read it. Even the bible say's to obey the rules of the land. Allow the judicial system to regulate, enforce and sentence accordingly. I don't have a problem with that.Heck, I used to be a cop. I just don't believe in judging a man before the facts are proven. Just that pesky old innocent until proven guilty thing. Rumors run rampant. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. I could go on and on. The truth will come out and the law will act accordingly.

Look at Lawrence Newman now. Now all of a sudden he wants to cooperate with the newspaper lady Carol Wilcox and he wants to try to do right. why is it that he is never around for an interview when the camera crew arrives. That last statement that he made to kfvs 12 as to why he is not in jail if he is not operating within the law, will probably come back to bite him in his ass.

Is there anybody out there that knows what steps the citizien of Hayti Heights can take to take action against the Mayor or how to get him out of office? Can the Mayor be impeached? What are the channels to getting that done?
