jason sucks as a coach. I agree the school board kids that play now, would not have had a shot to be on the team. Thats why these parents get on the board so their sorry ass kids get to be a star in the big town of steele. Dont worry Carter kids will come back and work for daddy.
Thats funny,,,Carter kids suck huh ?

Well that is what Id expect from someone like you. An ole guy that wants to put down kids because they love to play ball. Again leave the kids out of it. Carter kids or any kids as that goes. Really your opinion doesn't mean anything at all, just leave naming kids out of it.

what will be funny is watching the future of most of these "pseudo-elite class" of steele's kids. when I was in school, we had a similar situation in a town not far from here. where these privileged kids had everything given to them and, later in life, they ended up drug addicts, in jail, or dead .... when they left their hometown. Reality has a hard bite to it sometimes. Daddy and mommy can control the environment in their own hometown ... but IN THE REAL WORLD, they have no control. The kid's outcome or success will only depend on the length of the umbilical cord.

Blah, Blah, Blah so you are saying if you were in the same position as the "pseudo" you wouldn't do the same for your kids? YOu know you would.

All this favorite crap is exactly what pushes some people over the edge. With all this crazy stuff that happens in other parts of our country, it looks like people would stop and think about some of their actions.

then why does he have some of his best players sitting the bench instead of playing them but we all know why that is cause at this school it is all about the money if the kids dont have money we see where they are at on then bench every game.....

No, I would not. In a long run, he/she would fail (as I have seen myself with other examples). My job as a parent will turn out as a failure, if he/she leaves to make a life for themselves and they fail.

These pseudo-elitist parents who feel they must SNUFF OUT THE POTENTIAL of other kids, to get their kids ahead, will truly feel the repercussions for their actions; what goes around comes around. I have observed around a 90% worse-case-scenario for these pseudo-elitist kids ... that is, IF they leave their hometown. I really HATE to see some of these "other" kids, who are real good at what they do, but are cut-down and held down to let the pseudo-elitist kids move ahead. I just hope these kids have a proper parental support. If not, it could mess up their whole life.

I know one of these "other" kids, who left for a university. He (lately) had told me he was a bit stressed and down on himself here in steele (but luckily he had the proper parental support). Now, he is in his third year, has a high G.P.A. and is one of the top players on his team (whereas he was mostly a benchwarmer here in steele). He also said he was geared-up so high, working harder to get accepted or even noticed in steele (and always hitting failure) that, when he got to the university, it was somewhat easier for him. From talking to him, it appears his work-ethic level or attitude is extremely high. Actually, you could probably thank the pseudo-elitist parents for this. All those punches in the gut and pistol-whipping in the face made him, in a long run, a more productive person.

But, again, it gets a little funny, how great these pseudo-elitist parents think they are ... of Steele MO!?!?! Not Dallas or Chicago or even Cape Girardeau ... but Steel MO ... yeah, that's a great accomplishment! Like dung beetles on the top of some horse crap, all the pseudo-elitists crawling all over each other's backs trying to be the one on the top of the heap ...LOL... flies buzzing all around ....LOL

Oh, what BS!!!!!! He knows what he has done to these "other" kids (and he is quite happy doing it) and it will come back on him. God will judge accordingly. Henchmen get it as bad as the persons who make the calls, out of their own selfish interests.

I'm confused. From what I've seen, he lets the kids that work hard play. In fact, he has made some of the kids you are talking about sit the bench. He spends hours and hours at that field. I have a hard time believing he would ever tell a kid he didn't have time.

Last year there were I know 4 kids that came to practice, went to all the games and he never bothered playing them. I would not encourage any boy to join this team. Its not about winning, it a matter of building self esteem in the boys. If they win fine, it they don't fine. I think its because his name is House, the reason hes coach. Hes lacking in doing the right thing by all the kids, not just a few.

people play to win idiots. why have a game if everyone is a winner? in life there are winner and losers teach them now.
Not when you are in middle school, or highschool. A good coach spends his time in molding them and preparing them for college. Its not all about ability, but attitude. This is where everything has gone wrong in sports and pro sports. You can tell if a kid is ready by his attitude. I don't care how good he is, its his attitude that counts and if I was coach a kids with a bad, or superior attitude would be out and I wouldn't care who his parents were or how good he was. He wouldn't make it to the pros anyway.

This is one thing that's wrong with our society. Nobody can have their feelings hurt anymore. Everybody has a sense of entitlement. People don't want to grow and mature from the experiences of losing - whether it be a game or playing time. The most successful people in our country faced adversity at some point in their lives - and got to where they are as a result of it and because of how they chose to react to it. I bet you can't find me one successful person who whined their way through life accepting entitlement after entitlement. We can't avoid or run away from adversity if we're going to amount to anything.

So you're saying he has a job as a coach because of his last name? Who exactly do you think he's related to?
