Anyone know where to buy an underground fiberglass storm shelter in this area? I know I have seen them somewhere, but now that I want to buy one, I can't seem to find one. Thought they were at Lowe's, but they don't sell them.

I would love to get a storm shelter but nowhere to put one. I was one of the lucky ones in 2006 that didn't get any damage.

I bought One from Fain Storm Shelters in Jackson
and it has been pretty good for what it cost.
The concrete shelters do not seem to leak instead they sweat unless you can leave the door open part of the time. I am afraid if I leave it open a Snake might get in it though lol.

We bought an above the ground from them. Delivered within a week of order and have had no trouble with it.
I have seen the underground ones and they would be hard for someone with mobility problems to get in and out of, also I've heard they do leak.
I waited two months to have an underground from Fain in Jackson TN put in. Right now it has 3 inches of water in the bottom of it, has only been in the ground for less than 2 months. Have left messages for them and have not gotten a return phone call. i will have to go through the BBB at the end of this week and hope for a resolution, or eat the attorney fees to sue for my money back and removal of the shelter. As a recently widowed mother of 4 small children this is really the last thing I need to deal with. Im just praying they do right in the next week, I just want a storm shelter that is dry and safe for my family. 3 inches of water isnt a leak, its a flood.:-(

Did you buy a steel or concrete shelter from Fain? I've been wondering about them. Have you had it very long and are still happy with it?

All concrete storm cellars are going to leak if you do not keep them maintained. Regular caulking around metal door insert around where the metal and concrete meet. I have a fain storm cellar and it leaks if I do not keep it maintained. Fain customer service help are Very Rude to say the least. So do not even call them for any advise.
