Desiline Victor made two trips and had to stand in line for hours before she could vote. At 102 years of age. She was honored on Tuesday during the State of the Union address for her determination to cast her vote in spite of the obstacles put before her by the Republican party. Her patriotism earned her a standing ovation from Congress. Well, except by John Boehner who sat that one out.

Brian Kilmeade, along with Fox’s Martha MacCallum and Bill Hemmer decided to have a little fun and mock her for her tenacity.

Some highlights:

What’s the big deal? She was happy. She waited on line, she voted, she was happy that she was there to vote.
What was she the victim of? Rashes on the bottom of her feet?

Can you hear them whispering?‘Did she try to hit you with the “I’m 102 and I’ve been on line five hours”?”

Is she gonna try to give you that one again?

She said the same thing when she was 98! I wasn’t buying it then, I’m not buying it now!

What's the big deal? This is such a non-issue. Ridiculous. They held her up as a victim. What was she a victim of?
I can tell you specifically what she was the victim of. She was the victim of the Republican efforts to keep the wrong people from voting. She was the victim of Rick Scott's experiment in voter suppression. And most recently, she was the victim of Fox News and their callous disregard for our most fundamental rights as Americans, the right to vote..

That's the "Christian party"

Exaggeration for the sake of making a point is nothing new. Take a look at your own news sources. In this case, the real riducule should have been heaped upon all of those folks in line that didn't let her get in front and made her wait so long. Every single one who knew she was waiting and did nothing to help her is a complete degenerate.

... no faulting FOX, however, for pointing out that she wasn't a 'victim' of the system or, as Øbama and the rest of the 'progressives' would have us believe, a victim of conservative attempts at voter supression.

You really think a republican would let an old woman go to the front of the line?

There are laws at the voting precincts.
The laws need to be changed.

You trying to tell me if this older woman went to the front of the line that the republican poll workers wouldn't have call their bosses to send in the lawyers. PLLEEASE

Look what happened to Rosa Parks.

This woman of 102 knew her place.

You don't know what would have happened. I would say most of the people standing in line, since Obama won, were Democrats. Sounds about right to me, Democrats making an old woman stand in line. There might be laws but if the people had been willing to let her ahead then no law would have been broken. I don't see how she was a victim myself. Well, maybe a victim of young people today who have no manners and are self-centered and all about "me,me,me".

Why is it, anyway, that the longest lines were predominately in Øbama precincts? Personally, I think the answer to that question is that, clearly, most Democrats are simply too dumb to vote and it takes them three times longer to complete the ballot, thereby making the slowing the voting and making lines much longer than in conservative precincts.

NO I'm not. I also know that Rosa Parks went to jail for breaking the law for not giving up her set for a white person.

Just as this woman would have gone to jail. She new her place.

How many republicans would have CRIED-she cheated-voter fraud.

All of them.

What republicans can't understand is that African-Americans are use to this kind of treatment from them. This was just another bump in the road. They weren't scared off. They waited in lines for as long as it took. Obama WON.

The Faux news making fun of her is so religious right of them.

I wonder if she would have voted for Romney would Obama still have her on tv. I mean really it shouldn't matter how long she waited. And yes they are all good at just sitting around doing. Nothing. Funny how they didn't have jobs to be at so they could sit in line all day. While republican voters had to work all day and vote after work. And mentioning rosa parks she sat at the front of the bus cause she was to lazy to walk to the back and if she didn't work for Martin Luther king nobody would have heard a word about it Bottom line is. If u don't pay taxes then u should have no right to vote. It's the taxpayers money they are spending the welfare bums should have no say so. They should just sit at home and take whatever scraps we give them.
Thanks for being so honest.

I'm never shocked at how low Fox News will go to upset and anger the Teabillies to boost ratings.

Why didn't Democrats let her go to the head of the line?

Your question was answered on post #3 and #7.

And I dare say you don't know all the state laws. I don't know what's it's like and you don't know what all the blacks have gone through all these years to vote. I'm sure you don't care.

Making fun of this woman wasn't and will never be "Christian like"

You people want to make fun of her go ahead BUT don't turn around and call yourselves the only Christian Party. Nobody is buying it.

If all the blacks can sit in line all day just to vote. Maybe they should go sit in the unemployment line instead of drinkin 40s and playing Xbox
Do you think a 102 year old woman can still handle drinking like that? Maybe we should find out what she drinks and what games she plays on Xbox.

I think the point of the 102 old lady was that despite her age she was willing to wait in line all that time to vote. People should have stood for the simple fact that she was a lady and 102. Fox News should be ashamed but not only for that. They have trouble with reporting the truth. They lie about facts more often than not. I think voting should be extended for a week so there would be fewer long lines. As far as Democrats taking longer to vote because they are stupid leads me to believe that you are Republicians. I guess I'm one of the stupid people but I voted absentee. Now all you Republician christians be sure and don't miss church Sunday. You set such a good example for all.

Why is it that when people are talking about Republicans they always bring church into it. Are you saying that Democrats don't go to church? Or are you saying all the Dems that were in front of her didn't let her go either because they weren't christian and so Republicas that are the only Christians should have let her go? Oh I forgot liberal democrats believe they crawled up out of the slime pits.

Your the perfect example of a CINO RINO. You only resource is to name call when someone makes a comment that offends you. You shove religion in peoples faces, by forcing them into believing that "you are the holy party". You constant prognosticate that Democrats are the Anti Christ. You instill fear with religion and use it as a arguing source on many many political venues. Constantly cry foul of a abomination sin when a Democrat commits adultery yet when a Republican is caught in a Homosexual affair or having extra marital affairs, you come up with excuses. You're own parties belief on abortion should send statements like Todd's famous comment, and lest not forget Rush Limbaugh your pragmatical savior who insults any person with a open minded view on any issue or simply calls them "sluts" or "prostitutes" yet this is ok in your eyes because ......you got GEEEEEEEEEEEESUS on yer side!(SPITS)
