What has happened to that place? The management knows there's a problem, and does nothing.
Five minute wait to be seated in a half filled restuarant, then a 25 minute wait and still no waitress is unexceptable.

Sit on the patio or otherwise not go out of your way to make the staff happy, if you are drinking, they will cut you off, make a scene of it, and claim that it is the rules. I used to bring business associates to OH for evening meetings, and out of 7x, 4 of them, members of my party were shut down after 2-3 Mic Ultras. It was a sham considering how I was paying upwards of $30 per person for steaks, and then to have them pull that.

I completely understand that they have to be careful due to the state laws, and I also appreciate that they have to make sure people do not become too intoxicated, but just because you don't want to bring beers outside, and then later admit that as your reason. Pathetic. I refuse to hold business dinners there any more.

Abe's in Dyersburg has some of the best steaks in the area, and they appreciate the purpose of my meetings by ensuring we always have what we need. It's sad because I would much rather be putting our $300 meals and $60 tips into the community, but OH would rather you just keep walking if you have any expectations. If you ever try to complain, good luck. They just assume you are another PO'd drunk, non-withstanding any evidence you present.

You're right! Otis and Henry's are really pathetic. They should let everyone get hammered drunk and not care if they make it home or not. What terrible people they are.

Already covered that bub. It's their loss, not mine. OH will close and more people in our economically depressed county will be out of work, around the circle goes. In the mean time, we will be enjoying Abes. No loss of sleep here.

I was there saturday with some out of town friends. 8 of us total. We waited about 3 or 4 minutes for a server, not too bad. Ordered our drinks and then 22 minutes later we got them, well all but 2 of them. our food showed up one hour and 30 minutes later. Oh and should I mention we only had appetizers and sandwiches! We were all pretty bummed and pretty much decided right then that we wouldnt be back. I thought maybe it was an isolated thing but I guess not.

Isn't the short, blonde haired lady the manager? She was still there the last time we were ignored.
